What do you mean you dont like cream of mushroom soup?????

As a frequent member of thenest.com I love the "Whats Cooking" board. There are tons of newlyweds who share ideas and I have gotten many a recipe from there that has been tasty and delicious. This week on the nest has been interesting, and an awakening experience for my southern soul. Did you know that not everyone likes cream of mushroom/chicken/celery/insert fav veggie here soups? :confused: Sure, they arent the best thing for you, but oh so yummy in casseroles and some of my staple holiday dishes. They help people like me, who work long shifts, be able to cook quick tasty meals. Sure you make your own cream of ______ and of course its *better* for you. But, I dont have time to make my own roux after working 12 hours. I just want a quick easy meal. So I have to admit, I dont use these so called "cream of crap" soups for everything. And to be honest, I probably use them 1x every 2 weeks at most. I guess Im just in shock anyone can hate these American staples. I have come to realize as many lovers of my beloved "cream of crap" soups, there are haters....and so I appoligize....because I know I posted some recipes with that congealed stuff in it...and it if offended you, then Im sorry. I promise if you will overlook my cream of crap casseroles then I will overlook your tofu kebabs! :)
