Happy Guy Fawkes Day!

From what I know about guy I don't think it is a reason to celebrate but that is my Atheist point of view so I won't go into it. Halloween has come and gone and my pumpkins sit rotting on the steps. A good time was had by all. Yesterday I had to use up a cauliflower that lay wilting in my fridge. I made some chicken broth then added salt and pepper and threw in my chopped up cauliflower and threw in my carrots and potatoes and an onion and cooked it for an hour. Then I blended it up and put it back on the heat and threw in some milk and Worcestershire sauce. It smelled good but by the time I was finished hubby was fast asleep on the couch. So I put it in containers and sent some for his lunch today to work. One way or another he is going to eat this freakin soup! I am not one to talk though I brought some for work lunch and don't feel like eating! As I said before I was doing this hemp heart thing and I don't usually get hungry until the late afternoon these days. If only I can get the scales to say yeah good job. But alas I have a chocolate habit, it is a bad habit too! If only chocolate was as healthy as fruits and vegetables!
