Thanksgiving is over

Well here is almost a week a after Thanksgiving. It has been fairly warm for th past two day. Also some much needed rain !! So thankful for that! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. This year we shared our meal without my husband Mother. She was greatly miss. Normally her and I would do the meal put it all together and have everyone in.So this year I was honor to be able to cook for the family. I was thankful that they allowed me to do this for the family.We missed my husband 's sister and brother and their family that was not able to be there with us. I hope it works out that at Christmas we will get together. My sister in law brought her wonderful fruit salad which I always look forward to having. It is was a blessing to get almost everyone together. We went to my sisters for my side of the family. It was also very good ! I think we had a bout 23 people at her house. My brother and his family was not able to make it . They were greatly missed!I hope we don't forget to keep on being thankful for all thing! I hope we don't forget and encourage one another and try to find the good in one another. It is always easy to find the flaws in our life but, when we find that gem in our life may it shine as bright as a diamond in the sky. Hope you don't over stress trying to get ready for Christmas and take a moment and inhale in all in. The people , the decorating, and the shopping but most of all what the real season is all about !
