Bacardi Rum Cake

Made this famous recipe this morning. I've seen this recipe on two different talk shows, where someone has claimed it as their own. But it's actually from Bacardi, they had it printed on recipe cards in the 1970's 80's and my Mom, a frequent client of the liquer store, used to make this every Christmas.
I got a new pumpkin stoneware pan from the Pampered Chef that I tried it in. I seasoned the pan, per the instructions, but anyone that's worked with stoneware knows that it's a bitch to not get it to stick. I actually did two session's of seasoning, with olive oil, but the cake did stick to the pan. I had to run a knife gently down the sides to release the cake. They actually came out in one piece and looking pretty. Normally you would use a bundt pan but this pan had 6 individual bundt shapes with a nice well in the center instead of a hole. The glaze soaked really nicely into the well and I was pleased with the results. I'm going to wrap them and give them as gifts.
