Happy New Year

It is mere hours till the New Year. 2008 my oh my! My family is back from parts unknown and tomorrow we celebrate Christmas. What a strange family indeed. The bad part is I just finished shopping yesterday and I have only just begun to wrap! I wish I could time warp until the weekend. I made fudge and ruined it, tastes like black death. I made nuts and bolts and it turns out the recipe is right, turn often, I didn't and well they didn't turn out too well, still on the black theme though! The only thing I was successful at was the shortbread and I remembered how much I truly hate making them! Next year I think I want to go away for the holidays. Leave a week before Christmas and never come back...
