This Week!! :)

WOW, this has been an eventful week!  Jon had a National Convention in Las Vegas, and I went with him!  There are SO many things to do and see in Las Vegas!!  We are not gambling people, so, the free time that we were alotted was devoted to shopping, sight-seeing, and dining out.  Thursday evening, we dined at a Long-Time Famous Restaurant in downtown Las Vegas.  WOW is all I can say!  Our dinner was incredible!  I had Veal Oscar with White Asparagus and Jon had Horseradish Crusted Rib-Eye with Garlic Mashed Potatoes.  Dinner comes with a salad that your server makes table-side to your specifications.  House dessert is chocolate-dipped fruits with fresh whipped cream.  AMAZING!  Lunch the next day was This Great Place which included a volcano erupting during our lunch!  We had fried tilapia sandwiches with onion rings and french fries, and it was wonderful!!  We LOVE Jimmy Buffet!!! :)  (I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes!!!)  While we love to travel, we are both SO GLAD to be back home!  And while we thoroughly enjoy trying new restaurants and new menus, we are both so thankful to be back to home cooking in our own space!
