Here we go

I had a blog once in another place which will remain nameless. I started it because my sister had one. It lasted about a year before I lost interest. Or time. Not sure which. Now I find myself with an infant in the house - child number 2 - and oddly, a few minutes here and there that beg for some writing. So here I am. The musings here will likely center around my 2 and a half year old son and my 4 and half month old daughter. I love to spend time in the kitchen and Roman loves to help (as much as his form of assistance can be called 'help'). I find, however, that my time here is limited. Thankfully I have a husband who has found a joy of cooking too. He always could. Now he likes to and likes to try new things. When Roman was born, we came to an agreement - I would plan the meals and do the shopping. He would do the cooking while I played entertainer. Works for me - at least until we have guests then it's "get out of my way! I'm going to make a mess of the kitchen!" I miss having hours to dawdle over magazines and cookbooks but I'm sure that time will come back sooner that I expect and I'll wonder where everything else has gone to.
