thanksgiving prep day one

yes, i start on thanksgiving 2 days of ahead so a total of 3 days.... so far... cleaned the dogs- scottie will get a bath shortly, sofiya has had hers buffet table is out and prep for where things are going to go silverware has been cleaned- just last minute polish before placing in cloth napkins apple pie mixture is prepped- see picture From thanksgiving 08 apple pie mix mix apples ( honeycrunch, granny smith, braburn) pears organic raisins candied ginger splenda vanilla powder lemon juice slenda brown sugar cinnamon flour day of making the pie, i will add more flour and hawaiian vanilla extract with small amount of butter on top tomorrow will be.... prep the goose. we bought a free range goose from the farm up the road, over buying a turkey. i have not seen any free range turkeys, only kosher ones....so 45 Euro later we have a 4 kilo goose. make one of the desserts to it can set overnight clean house drink wine thanksgiving day... drink wine morning- cook pies make beer bread prep vegs that are being roasted prep potatoes noon- start goose prep soup starter and cook around 2 get vegs ready to roast start mashed potatoes 3 pm guest arrive finish off food soup starter while eating soup. goose resting and finish off roasted veg and make stuffing...mash potatoes still have alot to do....
