Even though I don't write in my blog on a regular schedule, I have my blog here: http://skeetersfinecrafts.blogspot.com/ I love to make bread! I have made bread since I was about 10 years old. It was my homeEc subject when I was in highschool. I made bread by hand, until 1990, when I got my first bread machine. It was a Welbuilt, made round loaves. I have come a long way since then. I have a Breadman, which happens to be my 3rd one. (the first, I lost in a divorce settlement,) I also have a Zo, which I really like. I just use the machine to do the kneading, then I shape into loaves and let rise, then bake in my oven. I have always used powdered buttermilk in my recipes, but lately I found by adding a little lemon juice, really makes a nice loaf. During the summer, our Church has a bake sale every weekend at the L'Anse Waterfront Market, so I have both bread machines going all week long! Okay, this is my first entry, so will not write a book this time!
