The root beer is brewing!

Finally! Done making the root beer. And, may I just say, this involved a lot for me. Not only did my friend have to dig up and mail me some root, and my neighbor help me get it into usable form with his bandsaw, but I had to: - Extract whey from yoghurt - Buy molasses - Buy a mortar and pestle with which to grind the coriander seeds - Buy coriander seeds to be ground up - Buy distilled water, even though the recipe says filtered is good enough - Get a two-quart glass container with an airtight lid - Worry about whether the safrole is going to give me cancer Whew! In a few weeks it should be ready.
