Happy New Year I Guess

I got my lucky money gift from Kim this morning for the new year...year of the pig...I myself was born in the year of the tiger. Made a white bean ham and sage soup this weekend with fresh fennel. This was out of that bargain soup recipe book I picked up before Chirstmas at Borders. I thought that the recipe actually came out real well. One of very few that has from this book. I can really smell/taste the fresh sage and fennel. And its very filling. I took a picture. Need to download some of my pictures. Did a little manual labor involving replacing some fence posting at the parents neighborhood this weekend. Ran yesterday and today, warmer but SOOO windy out. Its been like that the last year. The only time the weather is nice enough (not TOO HOT or TOO COLD) its windy as hell. Would love to take the top off the car but I would get blown away. Went to the Ft. Worth auto show yesterday.....had people taking snapsots if you wanted in the Corvette (convertible, mine is coupe with Targa top)...got to say NO THANKS, GOTS ONE OF MY OWN....I actually left my vette at the car wash for detail while I was at the show. Did not really see much that turned me on other than one of the Vipers and the NICE Mercedes Sport Convertible (SL 550??) I think those are the only ones I would trade for. Though me and the Viper would be a dangerous combination. Losing my license would be the least of my problems, more likley death at 150 mph...
