Is it sad to get excited about a new dishwasher?

My husband was convinced I was overloading our old one, or using the wrong detergent. Finally, a friend of his explained that it was the beginning of the end for it, because his was doing the same thing and it was the pump going out. Considering we've never liked this one, and were just using it until the kitchen remodel, we decided to go ahead and get a new one.
A little research pointed us in the direction of our local Sears - and the Bosch display. We splurged and bought the one with the easily adjustable rack, because there are days I need to wash a half load, due to sippy cups, bowls and other small items. It should be here next Thursday, so any reviews will have to wait until then.
Other than that, I now have a craving for lemon bars, after receiving the latest Kraft Foods magazine. I may have to go through my grandmother's recipes to find her version. I made a great sorbet for babymonkey, since she can't have ice cream, and will write up that recipe as soon as I get a chance. I really feel bad for her, because I had the same problem as a child, and it hurts to see other kids get to eat ice cream. At least home ice cream makers are common, now, and we can try ice milks and other low milkfat blends. Fortunately, she'll most likely outgrow it, so it won't be a long term issue.
