Tired of the Rain

Well not really tired of the rain itself...keeps things cooler.and we are no longer in a drought..but it always seems to hit at rush hour...my car is absolutely filthy. Black cars are hard to keep clean..and the mosquitos!!..We have been having thunderstorms continually since Friday April 13th. I outran the tornado coming out of Ft. Worth that evening. Right now it is 10:00 AM and it is as dark as midnight out there....more storms moving in early today. I swear it was lighter out there when I went for my run at 5:45 this morning. The top of the Dallas skyline was shrouded in fog though. Keep expecting the power to go out, have my floor warden flashlight sitting next to me. Well I did make my sweet onion enchiladas this weekend. Will be eating those ALL WEEK. I have lamb chops thawing out in the fridge for when I get home. Will grill in the new grill pan this evening. Made a light mayo macaroni salad last night to go with. Roasted Chicken and Sweet Onion Enchiladas For this weekend I am going to take the rest of the flank steak that is in my freezer and make a Korean steak salad over watercress, also some mushroom and barley soup, tomato basil soup to go with turkey wraps for lunch next week.
