Dallas is Burning Again

By now you have most likely seen the pictures on CNN...Another fire, this one with fireball explosions!! I did not feel or hear the explosions here in our office building. We definitely saw the smoke though and heard all the fire and police sirens rushing by towards south downtown.
I'm glad that I don't have to go that way after work as both interstate 30 and 35E have been shut down going on 6 hours now...it's a CRIME SCENE...so TxDOT can't even remove all the burnt up debris all over the freeway. Hopefully by morning tomorrow all will be sorted out.
I have been cooking when I can. But so stressed out not much time or energy to blog or post recipes. Still doing 3 peoples jobs here. They are going to hire someone else from outside the company, but really, that doesn't make things easier as I will still be doing 3 peoples jobs and training a new one from scratch as they will not know the systems, and if right out of school, nada at all.
I can't seem to lose any weight...stress is making me have several chip queso and margarita nights. Still working out like crazy though, so much so the combo of working out and work stress caused me to take a mental/physical health day last Wednesday. Normally this would send me into guilt induced panic attack, but honestly I was too exhausted to really give a fuck. Got out of bed, turned on the light, took a pee, turned off the light and went straight back to bed for the rest of the morning.
Still running with my father on Sunday mornings. He now wants to run "The Half" half marathon in November. Problem with that is you have to start training NOW...when its hot as hell though nowhere near as hot yet as last year. With my MWF runs I am doing close to 5 miles a morning, 6 on the Sunday runs. I did a half last year, had to walk some of it though. I would like to run the whole thing through..but I don't know if I can with the extra 10 lbs I got. Would like to be much leaner to run that far.
