Farmers Market

Went to the farmers market up in Evanston today. Found pie pumpkins for a dollar so bought two and have one in the oven now. Will make a pie later. Thought about buying some squash too, but my parents are coming up and I think my mother is bringing me squash from the farmers market down there. The main reason I went up there was just to look around' wanted to see what was on the tables and what some of the bakeries and preservers were making. I found a recipe for Raspberry Chocolate Jam so maybe I'll make some of that later this week. Made Iowasue's Oatmeal bread. Looks great but haven't sliced any yet. I have a bunch of bread in the refrigerator that I need to eat first so I put the loaf in the freezer for now. The cooler days are good times to bake bread and I needed to do some things around the house so it was a good day yesterday to bake.
