Katherine's Lemon Meringue Pie: Desperate Housewives
This was the recipe that made Bree Van De Kamp furious. It's not my fault the girls like my pie better.

Cookbook Recipe
Edie's Quick And Easy No-Fail Lasagna: Desperate Housewives
Edie would always say, "The fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach." She never believed that a woman should spend all day in the kitchen. She slipped this recipe to us just before her accident. So this recipe will immortalize Eddie in our hearts, minds and stomachs forever.

Cookbook Recipe
Susan's Spicy Mac And Cheese Ala Karl: Desperate Housewives
My entire marriage to Karl can be traced through one particular dish: Spicy mac and cheese a la Karl. It was too salty the night Karl moved into the house. It was too watery the night I found lipstick on Karl's shirt. I burned it the night Karl told me he was leaving me for his secretary. This was the first recipe Bree gave me when I moved to Wisteria Lane.

Lynette's Mother's Day French Toast Waffles: Desperate Housewives
Throughout my chemo, it was really difficult to get food down. One of my favorite memories during that time was on Mother's Day. The kids surprised me with this great recipe. Tom created this recipe after finding a box of waffle mix in the pantry. It's not 100% homemade, but it was a sweet gesture. You will need a waffle iron though - luckily Mrs. McCluskey had one.

Cookbook Recipe
Gabrielle's Low-Fat Beef Enchiladas: Desperate Housewives
This recipe is from my late mother-in-law Juanita. While I confess, I don't miss her (don't tell Carols), I do miss her famous beef enchiladas. I made a low-fat version so I don't have to feel too guilty.

Cookbook Recipe
Orange Blossom Muffins: Desperate Housewives
Whenever someone is down on Wisteria Lane, we quickly whip up a batch of our favorite treats, put some coffee on and huddle around a porch to get to the bottom of what's going on. So the next time one of your neighbors is feeling blue, whip up a batch of these delicious muffins. They are bound to delight!

Cookbook Recipe
Katherine's Modern Waldorf Salad: Desperate Housewives
This is the recipe that really upset Bree at the Governor's Ball last year. I've decided to really piss her off and post the recipe here on BakeSpace. Just don't tell her I gave it to you. She still asks me for it! Get ready to turn a few heads! This is not your mother's Waldorf Salad.

Cookbook Recipe
Bree's Grandma's Apple Crumble: Deperate Housewives
This is a family recipe that has been passed down from my Grandmother. If you've got a pile of apples, but not enough time to bake a pie then this is the recipe for you. An apple crumble will take less time and ingredients to prepare than an apple pie, but it's just as delicious and comforting. Last year we served it at the Founder's Ball and everyone just raved about it. Now we get a request for this recipe weekly. My publisher wants me to include it in my next cookbook, but instead I've decided to share it here.. with BakeSpace.

Cookbook Recipe
Susan's Caribbean Chimichangas: Desperate Housewives
Being pregnant can open up your taste buds to flavors you've never had before. It can also make you so hungry that you will think you can eat a house! Before each Lamaze class I scarf down on one of these.

Cookbook Recipe
Scavo Family Mini Chicken Pizzas: Desperate Housewives
Closing our pizza restaurant was a real blow. While we believe there's nothing better than a fresh pizza, here's a quick pizza trick that you can whip together in minutes. While it's not an authentic pie crust, it's great to those days when you want something tasty, but you don't want to spend all day in the kitchen.

Cookbook Recipe
Angie's Grandma's Italian Pizzelle Cookies: Desperate Housewives
My grandmother used to make this recipe for me growing up. I made the recipe when the ladies invited me over for a friendly chat and to get to know them. Because these cookies are part treat, part holiday decoration, it was easy to blend into their world. I wasn't expecting there would be drama when Katherine showed up. Luckily, the ladies on Wisteria Lane are so caught up in their own catastrophes that we can lay low. These are not low calorie cookies and my grandmother would always cook for 30 so this recipe is for 6 dozen cookies.

What is the Cookbook Café Platform?

Cookbook Café is our one-of-a-kind cookbook publisher, marketplace and reader. It empowers everyone to create, market and distribute a cookbook as both a web-based eBook and an iPad app. It also makes it incredibly easy for home cooks to discover and use amazing grassroots cookbooks they won't find anywhere else. Since 2012, we've published thousands of cookbooks authored by home chefs, nonprofit organizations, clubs, brands, etc. Our goal is to democratize cookbook publishing and make it easy to build an online library of amazing grassroots cookbooks.

How do I "download" a cookbook?

You don't need to "download" cookbooks or deal with any files. All of the cookbooks you select (free and paid) using Cookbook Café become available to you automatically on any device (computer, tablet or smartphone) whenever you’re logged-in to your free BakeSpace account.

When you see a cookbook you like, simply click the green "Get it Now" button. If you're not logged in to BakeSpace, you'll be asked to login (or join) so the cookbook can be added to your cookbook library. Once in your library, you can access the cookbook anytime, anywhere via BakeSpace.com, as well as our Cookbook Café iPad app.

While you're checking out cookbooks, also take some time to visit other parts of the delicious BakeSpace.com community where you can swap recipes and connect with others who share your passion for food and the culinary lifestyle.

Get ready to enjoy a uniquely smart and social cookbook experience!

Once a cookbook is added to your BakeSpace library, our proprietary recipe indexing technology makes it easy for you to find any specific recipe across all of your cookbooks… so there's no need to remember which cookbook contains that perfect recipe. In addition, you can connect directly with each cookbook author, leave comments/reviews and even ask questions about recipe substitutions, history, etc.

How could this book get any better? My favorite hobby: Cooking. My favorite show: Desperate Housewives. This not only has great pictures (from scenes in the show and of the food with the recipes) but it has cooking tips (professional ones and also tips from the housewives) and step-by-step instructions to make the harder recipes very simple.
