Sweet and seasonal treats
Sweet and seasonal treats: Cinnamon spiced applesThe fall is my favorite season. A recipe including tart apples and cinnamon glaze is a heart warming dessert that's sure to please.
Sweet and seasonal treats: Ice cream with brownies sundaeIce cream sundaes aren't just for the summer when it comes to me. The cold and creamy treat is layered with chocolately brownies, chopped peanuts, bananas, and caramel drizzle. This ice cream is not only packed with flavor but fiber too.
Pumpkin hazelnut spiced coffeeI came across this recipe on Pinterest! I'd like to credit whole and heavenly oven.com for such an amazing recipe. This is a simple and satisfying recipe that tastes like something from your local coffee shop. I decided to add hazelnut instead of milk for added flavor.
Sugar kissed French toastAs a breakfast lover I can't resist soft warm fluffy French toast. I use thick slices of Texas toast and coat it in sweet powdered sugar and cinnamon. My french toast should be topped with warm maple syrup and go great with scrambled eggs.
Strawberries jam print cookiesI came across this across recipe on Pinterest. These are sugar cookies that are topped with a fruit jam. You will get a little messy if you use your fingerprint as a mold to fill the jam or you can use a spoon as another option. Even cream cheese is added to the cookie batter for an extra moist texture. Enjoy!
Simple sweet potato pieI enjoy only a few flavors of pie and this has got to be at the top of my tiny list. I cook a lot during the holidays so using a premade crust is perfect for me. I use just about the same ingredients in my pie as I would use as a side dish for sweet potatoes. This pie is wonderful for any season!
