Shane, I have a question: Does blood orange juice pair well with strawberries, though I should think so, since I already made strawberry and orange preserve. Or should I hit wine?

Sounds like a good pairing to me... Blood orange goes really well with red berries.. Strawberries, raspberries, currants... even cranberries...

YAY! A day saved is a day earned... Laughing

I completely understand the "wanting to retire". I would LOVE to do that, and catch up on projects like soap and candle making... along with cooking and baking... Smile

But I hate to say it, I am going to have to sign off for the night... I need to start baking waffles and it's hard to be on the computer and watching waffles at the same time... Wink

I have an old stove top model, so It requires a little more concentration... Smile

SURE.... I wish I still had all the fancy oils to make soaps... I could send them to my BakeSpace friends... Soap travels much better than baked goods... Wink
