Carolyn that is an awesome idea... !!!!

I really wish I could do that... Ya wanna here something funny about Southern California, or at least San Diego? This still amazes me, but I grew up in a wet environment... They don't put rain gutters on houses here... Shocked Can you believe it? Laughing It's not like it NEVER rains or anything, evidently it just doesn't rain enough to go to the extra expense... Laughing Still cracks me up after 12 years...

heres another funny thing about SoCal...if you put a bucket out to catch rain water....you'd be waiting months and months to get even half of it full and by then what use to be in there would evaporate Shocked

Thank you... I am waiting and waiting for my first squash blossoms, although 1 of the males was fully open this morning... It was the only one... It didn't look like it was ready to open last night, but Boom! there is was this morning... Sad They don't last long once picked, so I am hoping at least 3 more open during the day today so I can make a risotto tonight...

How do squash blooms taste?! I've never tried them, but I would love to. I saw a recipe on food network once for zucchini blossoms and they fried them... I just didn't know what to think I couldn't imagine the flavor!?
