Good morning! It's raining here - was a beautiful hot and sunny weekend though. I'm actually kind of happy to see the rain. It's still hot as heck out though - muggy. Hitting the library today. I really need something good to read. I hope there's something there that catches my attention b/c I've read everything in my house at least twice!

I'll be back now and again. Have a good Monday!

Oh...by the way....

I was reading this weekend's posts - some drama going on with someone I don't even know about Babs and a prize? Huh.

Also - Cathy - I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL. My thoughts are with you and your family. Hang in there and don't overdo it with all the family invading!!

Hiya HH buddies!

Had a very very busy weekend, got on last nite to catch up and got locked up and lost all the "new posts" so I gave up. Hate it when that happens. So anyway, hope everyone had a nice weekend and Monday morning isn't too taxing for you.

My bestest girlfriend is coming over for lunch today. I'm hoping it doesn't rain so we can bake in the sun and dip in the pool.

My roses are all blooming out now and look beautiful! I took a few more pics, I'm off to get those posted. BBL

morning everyone! still gloomy outside. I think I saw the sun for a bit yesterday. Not sure if it'll show its face today or not.

Natalie had a basketball game yesterday and she had an all time high of 4 3-pt shots Smile

anyways...I should probably start getting ready for work. hmmm...have no idea what i'm gonna wear tho. oh crap...i just missed the weather report too. guess I can't get ready yet...gee darn Razz

I have walked by it a lot, cause it's on my way down the hill from Golden Hill, but have never eaten there... Nobody ever wants to go in there... I guess I am going to have to break down and go eat alone... Laughing

Did anyone else get a BS invite from an "Indi76" this weekend? I just don't accept from people who only have Babs as a friend, no profile, no recipes posted. I find it suspicious. I was just curious.

Hi all! Thanks for all of the good vibes. My MIL had some good news. Since the cancer that she has is her breast cancer that has come back and not some new cancer, she can continue on the same treatment plan that she stopped 4 years ago. Just a pill--it should help things tremendously. As the doctor put it--she's not ready to pack her bags yet!! It put her in good spirits. Now she can look forward to that hoard of relatives coming for the 4th of July. I'm not going to stress about it---they are family and can help themselves! Very Happy

DD--your flowers are gorgeous! I saw the pics...I'm jealous.

Dajana--I'm afraid for the humidity to hit here. So far, we haven't had to have the air conditioner on.

Shane--keep making pies. Send some my way.

Dani--Yay for your daughter!! I'm excited that my Taylor is finally getting serious about school. She even told us that she needs to get started back on her ADD drugs (she hates them) so she can focus.

Joy--Are you burnt to a crisp yet from all of that sun bathing? Pick out a good book and let me know---the Julie/Julia one is the last one I read. I may have to borrow some of Taylor's meds---too much swimming in my head these days to concentrate on reading.
