Yeah, really? Do you think I'd be able to do bread? It would probably be like rubber. lol

No Knead Bread's been mastered Laughing , but I've had another bread on my mind for a long time now, I'm sure I'll be making it.
Now I only need to find a good soup to make.

Mmmmmm....soup. I'm going to start going through my cookbooks and magazines...I know I've seen several recipes I wanted to try and now is the perfect time.

I'll probably pass on the bread, like Carolyn, I'm a bread machine bread maker. Besides not being a good bread baker, I try not to eat much of it due to my diabetes and weight loss efforts (not been doing very well on that lately). I can't be trusted around good homemade bread....I can polish off quite a bit all by myself. Embarassed

So excited for this challenge! I've been wanting to try a hearty walnut bread, so I need to figure out what kind of soup would be best with it.

But I also want to make chestnut soup, which I've never done before, and I don't think it would be best with walnut bread. Hmm, maybe I'll do two challenges this month!

I have a bread I'm going to make (but it won't go with the soup at all in regards to flavor)...I'm a little irritated tho. I joined a group for bread making...and there's an unpublished recipe by the author of ABin5 / HBin5 just for the group...which is cool. but when I make the bread and if I post the bread on my blog, I'm not "allowed" to post the recipe...even tho it has been posted on the group's "leaders" blog....so it's not like its a HUGE secret or anything cuz anyone can view the blog.

sorry...had to vent....it just irks me. I'm considering not participating cuz whats the point of a food blog if you can't share the recipe of the food you're talking about.

But...soup!! I'm going to make my soup this weekend!!! I'm so exciting. I've been wanting to make this soup for ages!!!

I've found the soup I want to make, too. Need to get to work.

Danielle, I don't think I'd participate in that group. It sounds kind of selfish, the group leader keeping it "secret".
