I am so impressed with the recipes you guys submitted... you guys rock! We'll be sending out a newsletter with a ton of them... so stay tuned!
FYI - I'm heading out of town for a vacation (I will have a summer after all!!). So I won't be back until Monday - that means Sabra and I can't chat (or taste) recipes until after I get back (but a winner will be announced next week - unless there is some delay on Sabra's end which I don't foresee). Just thought you guys should know so you're not waiting around and feeling discouraged.
I will be posting photos from our trip on our facebook fan page - http://facebook.com/bakespace due to the ease of posting a photo. So join us over there if you have an account. If not, when I get back I'll post an album with the photos here when I can make it thoughtful.
Miss you guys! I'll try to check in daily... but in case you don't see me for a day or two... know I'm here! Please watch the homestead for us! And email me if you see a funny recipe (spammers are actually using recipes now to post weird content) or just want to say hi! You know the email address... it's my first name at bakespace dot com.

Hi Babette.....first of all I know we ALL are looking forward to seeing who the winner is....it'll definitely be a hard choice, as there were so many good sounding recipes!
Second of all.....I'm finding it hard to believe that you are going to the "Burning Man" area for vacation! Did you say you've been before. I guess thta's one place that Jim and I would like to go to at least once just to say we've been there. Have Funa dn please let us know all the "DETAILS" of your time there.

Same as always......hurry and get your recipes submitted so you can win some kitchen appliance. Everyone busts their butts to get things in, then waits and waits to hear anything.........probably won't be for another month or two guys, hang by your thread a little longer.
