Holy cow.. it's almost the holidays!

We should really start to think about the holiday cookies we're all going to be making. This year I want to do something a little different...

Simply upload your your recipe to BakeSpace and link to it here. Some things to remember:

- The recipe must have a photo... why you ask? Because we're going to make a cookie e-book and send it to all our members!
- The recipe must have some sort of back story on why you want to share this recipe...
- The recipe must be on BakeSpace too!

So, get your cookie recipes out - search through your photos - upload them and paste the link here... and we'll get this going!

DEADLINE for recipes is Oct 31st!

Probably my favorite Christmas Holiday Cookie Recipe is "Honey Bears"

http://www.bakespace.com/recipes/detail/Honey-Bears/33959/

It's really easy and quick to make. It makes alot of cookies and doesn't require any ingredients that aren't in everybody's pantry. And best of all, everyone loves them!

By holiday cookies, does that mean Christmastime specifically, or are Halloween and Thanksgiving cookies included? Not sure when the e-book will be going out, etc. If the cut-off is 10/31, too late for Halloween cookies, but may be good to include for future reference.

What about we do this... put together holiday cookie recipes... mark it if it's a halloween cookie, a thanksgiving cookie or any of the holidays in december. That way we'll see if we get a few in each category... maybe we'll make more than one book.. Smile

Here's a link to the only "holiday" cookie I make. The picture is awful so don't feel bad at all if you are not able to include it in the newsletter.

http://bakespace.com/recipes/detail/Eggnog-Kringla/33826/

I do other desserts...just not cookies. I mean, I've made oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies and ginger cookies...oh wait, ginger is kind of a holiday "flavor", right? Here:

Ok, there. 2 cookie recipes....eeeked out of me LOL. And thats all she wrote.

I won some Pillsbury bucks with this one:

Pumpkin Snowballs

And these are for St. Nicholas Day on Dec. 6th...or for Christmas.
