Here are a few pictures of the little farmers' market in Old Hilliard...this is the one we go to the most since it's about one mile from Michael's apartment. I took these last summer when there were more vendors, right now there are probably 5-8.

Thanks for the pictures of your farmer's market. They look kind of like the ones we have at our larger flea markets.

Did anyone go to a Farmer's Market this weekend? I bought broccoli, cucumbers, green peppers, tomatoes, AND marinated fresh mozzarella cheese. Now, I can't wait to try making my own marinated mozzarella cheese.

Vicki - looks like you did very well at the farmers market.

We didn't make it to any this weekend. I had wanted to go the the one at North Market which is in the downtown area of Columbus, but we found out that there was going to be some kid of festival around there so decided to skip it...we knew the parking would be impossible. I'm heading home today so will get to check out some of the farmers markets and farm stands in my area this week. Hope I can find some more strawberries but I'm afraid our season for those is almost over.

I picked up two quarts of strawberries for Madison, but they were not very good at all. Small and very seedy if you know what I mean, not very sweet at all either. We had a really bad and short season because of all the really rainy weather we had. Sad

Today, the Michigan strawberry fields are calling (instead of the local Farmer's Market). Yum!!

Snow peas, asparagus, cucumbers, broccoli, homemade marinated mozzarella cheese filled my basket this morning.

I bought larger asparagus and plan on grilling it for the first time. I'm not sure if we'll be eating the snow peas hot or cold. Some family members just like them with homemade vegetable dip or ranch dressing.

What are your favorite ways of using snow peas?
