Did anyone go to a Farmer's Market this weekend? I bought broccoli, cucumbers, green peppers, tomatoes, AND marinated fresh mozzarella cheese. Now, I can't wait to try making my own marinated mozzarella cheese.

Vicki - looks like you did very well at the farmers market.
We didn't make it to any this weekend. I had wanted to go the the one at North Market which is in the downtown area of Columbus, but we found out that there was going to be some kid of festival around there so decided to skip it...we knew the parking would be impossible. I'm heading home today so will get to check out some of the farmers markets and farm stands in my area this week. Hope I can find some more strawberries but I'm afraid our season for those is almost over. _________________ Sheryle

Today, the Michigan strawberry fields are calling (instead of the local Farmer's Market). Yum!!

No problem! I think we should do a farmer's market photo contest one day.. everyone pick a weekend to shoot their favorite finds.... could be fun!

Snow peas, asparagus, cucumbers, broccoli, homemade marinated mozzarella cheese filled my basket this morning.
I bought larger asparagus and plan on grilling it for the first time. I'm not sure if we'll be eating the snow peas hot or cold. Some family members just like them with homemade vegetable dip or ranch dressing.
What are your favorite ways of using snow peas?
