Morning everybody,
We were kind of nice and slow yesterday morning, then by 11 or so we got really busy!! Hoping it's a bit slower today, have some things to do to get caught up and restocked.
Pat (nibs) - sounds like you both had a wonderful time.
Raining here this morning. They are saying for the next several days rain and cooler temps, can't complain though, we certainly had some beautiful weather the past few days.
Better get around here, need to get stuff ready...taking in crock pot chicken for the girls at work. Smells good already!
Later,

GOOD MORNING GIRLS.......Ann we are having the same kind of weather. Had several really hard rains yesterday afternoon, supposed to rain today which I hope it waits until after the Annual Easter Parade. But our Temps have went down by 20* too. Hope your day today at work is a bit lighter, at least you all have your tastey Crock-Pot Chicken to look forward too. Hope Jim's not too jealous.
I didn't get on the computer but once and it wouldn't stop loading the page! That is so aggravating I called Jim and told him about it and ask him to call SuddenLink AGAIN and tell them we were not happy, especially when we had the provider here to fix the problem 3 times now!
Tiffany and the kids came here yesterday and left about 5 or so for a Scout meeting, then Tiffany brought them back by because they were going to spend the nite. Their Spring Break is about over, so I need to see them alot, when school starts I only see them on the week-ends!
Cody mowed yesterday and everything looked so nice. The Magnolia tree is almost done blooming and now the Dogwood tree is getting ready to bust out in bloom. They sure loved all the rain. The whole neighborhood looks nice, most everyone mows close to the week-end , so all the lawns looks nice a trimmed together.
Well the kids are waking up, so soon they will be saying they're hungry. Cody wants to make Scrambled Eggs/ So with a little guidance from me, I'll let him in the kitchen. You all have a nice day today. HUGS! _________________ Debbie

Good morning everybody, have a smashing weekend
It felt like a dream could come true this morning. I got up bright and early and so did the sun, so after a nice fresh croissant from the bakery I planned to be at the supermarket at opening time. Until I stepped out and passed my neighbour's shop door...
Wow, was I only one kiss away from my prince on a white horse?
Closer inspection learned him to be a her, so I had a lucky escape . Left her at the shop door for the shop assistant, having a princess already but no white horse.
Vicki, awesome pics yesterday. We are 5C up above average these days.
Cookiebakr, I'll keep my fingers crossed
Ann-Marie, come over. I'm going to have ice-cream in the sun
Debbie, have fun with the kids _________________ Fanmajie

Debbie - that's so annoying about your computer. is there a different provider in your area that you can contact and see about a better system??
Fan - wish it was that easy! Love ice cream (had some last night after work)...and sitting in the sun with friends makes it even better. Darn, no prince after all.

Hello ladies. Yesterday was so beautiful that Gary and I stayed outside all day until bedtime. I paid for it all night with terrible leg pains. It was worth it though. We went for a drive to two different lakes. The one had just been stocked with trout and from where we stood we could see 10 big beautiful Palimino trout. We sure wish Madison could have been along to see them. I have never seen even one outside of a fish hatchery. Then we picked up food and had a picnic sitting right beside another lake. It was such beautiful weather that we didn't even need the sweatshirts that we had brought along. We walked around the lake and talked to a few people. There was an older couple there and their grandson was splashing around in the lake. That lake is so cold in the summer that if you go in the deep water that you can get hypothermia, but I told them "Water is never too cold for kids is it?" Then we saw a fisherman and we talked to him for a little while, we were kind of letting him know that he was not allowed to be fishing, but he didn't seem to care so we told him where we had seen a big fish. He was having no luck where he was. Then we came home and finished up our picnic food that we were taking to our son James. Got that packed up, stopped at the store and picked up some nice looking tomatoes. The cupcakes were not the white cake recipe I have been looking for, I guess the search will go on. Debbie, I think I might have tried that recipe, but I will take a look at it
Tomorrow we are going to Darryl, Ann and Madison's house. I am looking forward to giving Madison a surprise I got her. Not sure if I said or not but I had a "magic" sup made for her with her birthday pictures on it. I am going to let her give one to her grandma to.
**Florida girls, sounds like you had a great meet-up. I can't imagine that we wouldn't all be fast friends when we meet.
**Debbie, hard to believe that Cody was mowing already. If you had rain like we did today he got it done just in time. I am sure you enjoyed the time with the grandkids. Magnolia trees are so pretty too bad you couldn't have gotten a picture of it for us.
**Fan, your country looks like it is enjoying the weather as much as we are over here. There were actually sunbathers on the beach at the lake! Liked the froggy picture. Or is it a toad. No matter, I like them both. I try to provide places for them to enjoy when I can. I love to catch them and hold them just to freak people out. I can't believe how many people really believe that they give you warts!
**Ann, I bet everyone was very happy to have some of that chicken to share. Lots of babies born yesterday huh. I agree, we have had some fantastic weather. Our heating bills reflect it too, that is nice. _________________ Patti

Hi all
Just wanted to say Thank you to Debbie for the birthday card!! Thank you so much for thinking about me!! Love u!!
I've been loving all the pictures!!
I'm still trying to get everything straight around here. Made a big dent in cleaning out some junk. Got a pile for a yard sale. It feels great to accomplish something!! I'm starting to get my brains back & it's been a sad rough road. But I'm scraping by!!
Sending love & hugs to all!! _________________ http://bakespace.com/?tango

Good morning everybody, have a great Sunday
I'm having a difficult start this morning. Last night we switched to Daylight Saving Time. Makes me feels like I'm running late with everything. And the sun decided to be late too, it's been cloudy all morning and only by now she comes out of hiding. Makes my tree buds look awesome.
Tango, great to see you pop in. You seem to be in the middle of a Spring cleaning frenzy Hope you had a great B-day.
PattiT, it was a frog alright. Just the early morning light caused it to look brownish instead of green. My neighbour took it back to the waterside. I was basking in the sun yesterday morning to and this morning I noticed my legs looking a little red Almost a sun burn the very first day of wearing shorts.
Nothing special planned for today. I'll probably finish my laundry and keep a low profile TTYL _________________ Fanmajie

HELLO MY FRIENDS......It's almost 11:30 and I'm ready for a nap! No sleep last nite and as I sat here reading your post I almost feel alsleep. Yikes that didn't sound good did it? But you all know what I mean? Jim is feeling kinda lazy too. We have things that we should do today, but I don't think time will stand still if we don't! It's kinda cloudy and cool here today. The cool days followed all the rain we had for the past few days. The lawn looks nice where Cody mowed and this morning I seen the white flowers on the Dogwood tree.
****I just put up a Birthday Greeting for Tango...run over and wish her a good birthday!*****
**Fan, I so had to chuckle about the Frog Story. He, I mean she was a nice looking frog and would have made a handsome Prince! Glad you had some days of Beautiful weather too.
**PATTI, Oh, It sounded like you and Gary had a really nice day yesterday. Madison would loved to have seen those huge fish. Let us know how she like her "Magic" cup. Sorry tou couldn't sleep last nite from the leg pain. I know how that is. How do they feel today. Maybe Gary will rub them for you, Jim does mine and it helps for a short period of time.
**ANN, How the girls like your Chicken? You ask about another Inter-Net provider in our area. Yes, but it's a small company and I'm afraid that the speed might not be as fast. I'm thinking about calling them and asking some questions though.
***TANGO, You are quite welcome for the B'Day card. I'm glad you got it on time. Sounds like you are doing some major cleaning and clearing out. I so need to do that. Glad to hear that you are working through the rough roads and that you are starting to feel better.
OK, I need to get a shower before this day gos any farther and do something constructive! Have a good day girls! HUGS! _________________ Debbie

Afternoon,
Haven't done much, no ambition. Was extremely busy yesterday...nice to just sit or lay around for the day.
Debbie - they LOVED the crock pot chicken, lots of compliments.
Trying to sun shine here. Hope it sticks around, tired of the gray days already.
Take care,
