Morning everyone,

Didn't feel so good most of the day yesterday. Got up and was dizzy, upset stomach...and my ear felt like it was so full. Took a nap with Leo in the morning, couldn't keep my eyes open. Jim made spaghetti for lunch, ate and laid back down. Ended up taking an Advil cold & sinus, that seemed to help quite a bit plus used the nasal spray.

Had a wonderful dinner down at Mom's on Sunday. My uncle and my cousin came too...so we got to visit with them too. It was the first time my cousin was there, he was impressed with the river. Teased him and Jim when we took Benji for a walk, there were two kayaks laying down there, told them "if we only had the paddles to go with them..."

Stopped at my sister's on the way home, had a real nice visit with her and her DH. Actually stopped to see her eldest son since him and his family were in town, but we missed them ...they went to his wife's parents.

Back to work today after having 3 days off.

Ann-Marie, sorry you didn't feel well on your days off. Hopefully this sinus problem will disappear soon.
We were supposed to have thunderstorms, rain and hailstones today, but nothing of the kind. It was a bit chilly and sunny until five o'clock when a very threatening sky promised a storm And yet nothing happened, the sky cleared and I went to the Chinese take away to pick up some roasted pork to accompany my rice.

Other than that hardly anything going on these days. Although my health insurance battle has ended in a minor victory. After some recalculations on my request and behalf they admitted having made a mistake and are going to pay me about 200 Euros. Should I go shopping now??. My boss suggested me to buy my self a cell phone . Anyway I may have a sweet dream tonight shopping See ya tomorrow.

Ann - Sorry you're feeling poorly. You have sinus infections so often. You should go (again) to see a specialist.

Fan - Your dinner look so good. Congratulations on winning with the health insurance. That hardly ever happens! 200 euros! Woo-woo! What will you spend it on? If you haven't missed having a cell phone by now... then you probably don't need one.

Hi everybody else..... where are you today?

Nothing much happening around here. We had a frost last night and then some rain.... now it's sunny but chilly. Kinda bored today with nothing to do. Maybe I should bake some cookies.............

Martha, I have no clue yet. Besides it still may take two weeks before I'll have it on my bank account. Plenty of time to look around. Maybe something for my camera or my computer
Indeed, I haven't missed having a cell phone so far. Probably will not ever buy one either. Told my boss I'd wait for a device that would combine the cell phone with something else I can't do without. He teased me by telling me that such a thing would not happen in his life time for I'm still without car, without watch, without tablet, without microwave etc.

You will NEVER guess what I did yesterday.......come on, give it a try

Very good!! That's right...I cut the grass

The new mower is so quiet, had to get used to not having auto transmission tho. No big deal. It did such a great job cutting....much better than the old one did (even with new blades). Finished the entire front lawn in about 4 hours. Then hooked up the sweeper........it gave me a fit & I finally gave up on it. Want to go on the web to Troy Built & get a price on their leaf picker-upper bagger thingy...
