Morning everyone,

The Corelle pattern is called "secret garden." Go to walmart.com and search for it, it's pretty...still would like to get another set of them. Smile Wink

Was busy yesterday, on the go from 7 A til 7 P, was good to get in the car, roll the windows down and drive home. Could really smell the lilacs on my way home...was awesome. The warm days really brought every thing back to life. Smile

Had a lot of storms last night, seems like when I went to bed at 9:30 til I got up at 4:40 it was raining and storming. Loud thundering storms too, some sharp lightning to go with it.

Hope everyone has an awesome Friday!!!

Take care,
Ann

Good Morning, Friends!

Let the excitement begin! Eric and Mary are staying with Adam and Melissa tonight to participate in the Tulip Time Run tomorrow morning... Eric and Adam are running. Melissa has rehearsal tonight and will dance every day, except Sunday, until next Saturday. Next week, we may even stop for some freshly made stroopwafels.

Today, Karl and I are seeing his mom for the first time since she returned from Florida.

Ann - What a lovely pattern!

Fan - Enjoy your half day off today.

Debbie - Are cooler temperatures in your forecast today?

Martha - You have a taste of summer, too!

PattiT - I hope Cym*balta gives you relief. Your garden is off to a great start.

Have a great day!
~~Vicki

Hi Ann-Marie, Vicki and everybody else Very Happy

Ann-Marie, the "secret garden" indeed is very pretty. I kind of like the "hanami garden".
Vicki, are you going to watch them run and dance?
Just finished cleaning and came back from a grocery run. No sunny and warm weather here, it's severely clouded and the temps have been dropping since this morning. Fear the worst for tomorrow, may need a sweater at hand Sad .
Myo is already hiding under the couch plaid because she thinks it's chilly.
Going over to the pet shop in a few minutes and see if I can help out with tomorrows preparations. TTYL

Fan - I don't know if we'll watch them run tomorrow morning, but we will go several times next week. (I just came home from a grocery store run, too.) Smile

HI GIRLS ......Getting on here a little later than I'd like to, but been in the living-room most of the day. I have Chicken on for dinner, as I'm Finally going to make that Chicken Casserole. It's been a gloomy, cloudy, rainy day today and if I wasn't so worthless, I would have baked something, read my book or did something constructive! I just can't seem to get myself awake now days. I don't know if it's all my Meds or what.

Tomorrow will be a busy day for Jim and I......I want to run over and see his Parents and his Mom is having a Garage sale too, then go to the movies to see "The Advengers" Jim really wants to see that. I still want to see "The Lucky One" , then off to Sams and Wal-Mart to do some shopping....Yuck by the end of that day I'll be wore out.

**ANN, Checked out your Corelle pattern, it's very pretty. Wow, working non-stop all those hours, all I can say it's a good thing you're still young. We had the same storm get us last nite as well. My Rhododendron has really come in full bloom with all this rain cool nites and warm days.....it's pretty. Of course all the rain has made the Lilac bloom faster, so it's done...now Jim needs to trim it....I don't know why he doesn't do that before it starts blooming .

**VICKI, Oh Yes, I remember you talking about all the Tulip Time Run and other activities that were going on, along with your daughter dancing for the week and all the good food. I remember all the beautiful pictures you posted and how simply Beautiful it is! Enjoy your visit with Karl's Mom. By the way, I simply love all your beautiful or homey graphics you post. They do not go un-appreciated for sure.

**FAN, Now did I miss something in one of your Posts? What's going on at the Pet Shop tomorrow? Your concerned about the weather tomorrow, might need a sweater for tomorrow and you're going over to help with preparations for tomorrow? Big Sale going on? You ask me what was going on with Andy? I think it's more Old age than anything. He just doesn't play as much, sleeps more than any cat I know and now he's eating habits have slowed down. His eyes are still bright and he still likes the occasional petting now and then. I'll watch him for a few more days if not acting any better, I'll take him to the Vet.

**MARTHA, How nice that your Daughter had you over for dinner, then to treat you to her Spa Treatment. You sure got the works didn't you? It's nice when our children let us know how much they love and appreciate us.

**PATTI, So you doctor gave you a sample card of Cym*balta. Please be careful with that Med. My Sister takes that and is having a very hard time with it...some bad really bad side effects. It might just be her and hopefully well help you like no other. God knows you need something to help you through your coping. Paw print stepping stones. Madison should get a kick out of those . And then Snapdragons too......She'll be grinning from ear to ear. Oh My Creamed Fresh Peas, Potatoes and Ham...my Dear Mom used to make that about this time of year. So So Delicious! So you've heard of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra? I so wish you could get a chance to see them, it's a concert like no other! You ask about Jim.....Yes, I made him go to the doctor and now he is feeling some better. He had a sever sinus infection, which he gets real easy in the spring, fluid behind his ears and full blown allergies to the flower pollen. BY the way ....how long do you cook fresh asparagus on the grill?

Well girls my chicken is done and the ice tea I just made, so I need to go put this casserole together. Have a good evening. Oh yes, Saturday Nite at they say 11:35 EST the Moon is going to be closer to the Earth and very much brighter. It does this every year around May....so check it out, might be able to get some cool pictures! HUGS!

Hello from Raleigh North Carolina,
We got here about an hour ago..........terrible rain through West Virginia, but finally cleared up and now it's 91*.

Only skimmed a few of the posts because everyone is talking non-stop. Jordan and Jake are so much fun. Jordan is making her First Communion on Sunday, so we will be here till Monday.

Vicki, I wanted to say that at the Guild Meeting last night the girl who is in charge of trips might be planning a trip to see the tulips in your area next year.

Hope you all have a great weekend.........k.

Good afternoon girls. We had a storm go through earlier but it wasn't near as bad as they were expecting. Got some laundry done this morning and cleaned the bathroom. I don't know if it was all the trips up and down the stairs or what but all of a sudden I got a terrible pain in my head. When I sat down it went away, and when I got up it came back so I figured it was a sign I needed to rest so that is what I did.
I am about to get ready to get the asparagus ready for the grill. Debbie we don't really have a set time we cook them, we just cook them until they look like they are ready to get charred. Doesn't sound good but they sure taste good.
**Ann, I love Corelle, and you picked a lovely pattern. I really like the shape of the coffee cup, coffee cups are important to me. I looked at some of the other patterns, I saw lots of ones that weren't available when I bought my last sets. My sister had been married over 30 years and is still using the set she got for a wedding gift. Pretty and durable, how can you beat that? Glad you can enjoy the scent of lilacs on your way to and from work.
**Vicki, I am with Debbie, your graphic definitely do not go unappreciated. Those stroopwafels sure do sound good. Enjoy your visit with Karl's mom. Does she go there for the winters? Sounds like you have much more fun ahead with your family. I just stole your tulip picture for my screensaver. It is just so so pretty.
**Fan, that food looked delicious, I looked up a recipe for it and I think I would love it. We are having very warm weather here. If I knew which direction to blow, I would blow some of the warm weather to you. Poor Myo, I guess she has had enough of the cold weather. Have fun with the celebrations tomorrow, and afterwards, have a cocktail for me.
**Debbie, yes hearing about all the side effects of that medicine has me pretty scared, but I guess I am in the category of I will do anything to get some relief. I just talked to Madison, I told her about the snapdragons but not about the paw prints. She is a sad little girl, tonight is their May Fair and she is not allowed to go because she is grounded. She has been misbehaving and she deserves it but it still makes me sad. You will have to let us know about this chicken casserole. I can't believe we forgot to buy chicken (and toilet paper TMI) at the grocery store this week, and it was on sale.
**Karen, this crazy weather, our air conditioning is running today. Enjoy your grandchildren and take lots of pictures. I hope your drive home wont be as adventurous as your rainy drive there.

Debbie, tomorrow or since it it's already morning over here, is our National Liberation Day and lots of places are organizing "free markets". Shopkeepers, private persons and children carry out remnants , junk and all kind of stuff they want to sell out on the street. It's basically a big organized "garage sale", hopefully attracting a lot of people. My neighbour will have three stands with all kind of remnants from past year's stuff. I'll be entertained in the same way as you will be today at Jim's parents. Enjoy the garage sale at Jim's parents house Smile
As far as Andy is concerned, since he's an older cat already, monitor his food intake and how much he drinks in combination with what he produces on the litterbox. That will be useful information for the vet to what may be wrong with Andy.
Gigi, congrats on your granddaughter's First Communion Very Happy .
PattiT, please blow some good weather to us. It doesn't look too bad right now, 6.15. am, but we need a bit of warmer sunny weather Wink . From where you are, blow east and it will come to me from the west. Laughing
Gotta go and get ready. TTYL
