Morning everyone...

Wow, is it just me -- does it seem that the months are just FLYING right by?!! Shocked Shocked Dang, we are a few days a way from June already.

We had a really nice day yesterday, drove down to Mom's then went kayaking for a few hours. A bit too hot but we did it anyway. Glad Jim put Mom's AC in, she said she was too hot from kayaking, couldn't get cooled off. Sad Took the rotisserie and a chicken and I had made a cabbage and green bean salad to take too. Was starving after being on the river. Jim didn't go, said his legs hurt and I'm glad he didn't go since it was so hot.

Hope everyone has a great day!
Ann

GOOD MORNING ANN & OTHERS......I had one of those up and down nites, but always went right back to sleep, so I feel OK this morning. I need to go fix Jim and my Med for the week here in a minute, but wanted to check in first.

Yesterday was a day that was pretty much unplanned. Jim got called out to work about 10:30. He had to drive clear to the other side of Pittsburgh a several hour drive...didn't make it home til 8 last nite......he was very tired. In the meantime, Tiffany and the kids came over, she said they were so Hot they wanted to play with the water ball that Papaw got them. I said sure come on over, I'd like the company. I had planned on making some Taco meat and having Nacho's and some Mexican Rice, so I got the meat done while I was still in the mood to cook, Tiffany and Cody helped me finish fixing dinner and we all ate like little pigs! Tiffany cut up a huge watermelon and we had that for dessert. It was a Good day, except I missed my Jim!

**ANN, I know what you mean with the months flying by! I too can't believe that it'll be June in a few days. They say the older you get the faster times flies by, but this is ridiculous. Sounds like you all had a good time at your Mom's. Too bad that Jim didn't feel up to getting out on the river. Your dinner sounded really good too. I had one of those Ron Popell Rotisserie's but only used it once and sold it in a garage sale. So is it back to work for you today?

Well, I'm going to go get Jim up and get our Meds fixed. Hello to everyone stopping in later. I hope to check back in sometime today. Have a good one. HUGS!

Good morning Ann-Marie, Debbie and everybody else, have a smashing Tuesday.

I'm pretty confused today. It's Tuesday with a Monday like feeling. Weird and the weather is just as confused, the sun is very reluctant to come out. On top of that we got the bad news that a co-worker from another department in the office unexpectedly passed away in the long weekend. Her Memorial service will be on Friday. So you can imagine none of us here in the office is very cheerful today.

Ann-Marie, nothing better to work up an appetite than kayaking Wink Must have felt so good to be outside. I take it that the Rotisserie is a device for grilling chicken, does it work for other things too?
Debbie, glad the grandkids went over to keep you company while Jim was working. I can quite picture you feeding the piglets Laughing
Almost time to go home, gotta finish my last files quickly. TTYL

Debbie - Yep!! Not as many the little critters as there was on Saturday!

Fan - check this website out: https://www.ronco.com/index.html When we first got it we tried hamburgers and burnt them. Embarassed Rolling Eyes We didn't realize how hot it would get...and so quickly too!! I think we tried chicken breasts on it too, those were good.

Hey Y'all:

Had a nice quiet weekend. GS had a friend over, picked him up Friday & just took him home this morning.

Finished up a rag quilt yesterday & ran it thru the washer & dryer 4 times. I'm going to send it to MD to my SD to put in her store, who knows maybe someone will actually buy it. Shocked Very Happy

Will be going to the nursing home tomorrow to visit with DH. Not looking forward to the drive.

Glad everyone seems OK & had a nice weekend.

Y'all take care.

Carolyn, hang in there. I'll keep you in my prayers. I know it'll be an awfully long summer for you given the situation.
Nubbins, hopefully your quilt gets sold quickly. Hope you will find your DH in good spirit tomorrow.
Ann-Marie, thanks for the link. It's more state of the art and faster than my oven, but I think I'll keep my oven for another while Smile
