Morning,
Fan - I really like the rotisserie since it can do a whole chicken, and it's so much better than roasting it in the oven...plus it makes a awesome chicken salad for the next day.
Guess we had some heavy storms come through the area yesterday, being in the building all day don't know what goes on in the outside world...til I leave.
Looks like nice weather for the next few days, chances of rain but the temp is suppose to be in the high 60's. Hopefully no humidity.
Better get around here, need to leave for work shortly.
Take care,
Ann

Good morning Ann, and everyone that comes in today.
Jessica is in surgery right now. Having her thyroid gland out. I wasn't able to get up there. I hate that she is so far away from me. [2 miles] We are kinda financially unable to go that far at the moment. Since the only thing we have to drive right now is the ton truck, [which guzzles diesel] It costs us over
$100 to drive it both ways.. She understands though cause they don't have much money right now either.
I don't know what we will do today, just hang around the house and clean I guess. Hope you all have a good day.
Here is a picture of John sitting in his wagon, He got stuck in it.LOL

HELLO GIRLS....What a BEAUTIFUL DAY!! We are having one of those days were the temp is perfect, the sky is Blue and there a little breeze, no humidity either! Just got back from the doctors, it was just a routine appt, you know one of those that say your fine, that'll be $125,00! I did get some med for my inconsidence (SP) problem. Anyway I feel pretty darn good today.....whoo hoo!
Jim should be home for lunch here shortly. I'll probably fix us a grilled Cheese sandwich, as I'm out of all my Deli meat. Took a couple steaks out of the freezer for dinner, so we'll have steaks, Bake Potato, Salad and Grilled Garlic Bread. Brownies for dessert.
**ANN, I understand what you mean about NOT knowing what it's like in the outside world because you're inside....sometimes I go outside and it's hotter than I thought because I was inside with the AC.
**PATTICAKE, Prayers for your daughters surgery to go well. I know you feel bad you can't be there with her, it's good that she understands. Cute picture of your grandson in the little wagon.
**PAT, Good luck selling your Rag Quilts. How much are you selling them for? Can you post a picture? Today is when you go see your Hubby. How it's a good visit for you and he's in good spirits.
**CAROLYN, I really don't know what to say about your situation that I haven't already said to you. I know if I were you and your Girls and the Grandchildren HAVE to live there..I would lay down some house rules and about RESPECTING YOU....that means having the girls making sure they have the children behave and NOT make things rough on you. YOU need to put your Health and state of Mind first and take care of yourself. I will continue to pray that better days are ahead for you!
**FAN, Sorry to hear about a Co-Worker passing away. That happened at my job once and everyone just couldn't believe it as it was so unexpected, he was only in his 20"s
Well, I'm gonna get off here and head for the living-room and wait for my sweetie! Hope everyone has a Beautiful day! HUGS! _________________ Debbie

Thanks Debbie, she is out of surgery now and back in her room. Her dh has been keeping me updated. He said that the surgery went fine and she is in her own room now. She will most likely get to go home in the morning. _________________ Once in a while I dream that a gigantic squirrel is carrying me away. Does that make me a NUT? |

Hi everybody, have a smashing day
Grammadot, glad Jessica came out of surgery okay and little J. is so cute
Ann-Marie, I believe you, but my kitchen is rather small and since I really can't go without oven the Rotisserie has to wait
Debbie, happy to hear you are having a better day today. Guess what, you went to see your doctor today and I stumbled upon my GP in the fast food take away in my street ordering junk food. Luckily he didn't recognize me cause I hardly ever go to see him Last time I saw him for an appointment is close to two years ago. In average I only have an appointment once every five years. I'm such a lousy customer.
This morning I ran straight into a serious crime scene on my way to the office. I saw some aphids getting busted by two ants,
it became really violent and the aphids had no chance at all.
But in the end the rose is safe from aphids now
Enjoy your evening, see you all tomorrow. _________________ Fanmajie

Hi Everybody!
Such a beautiful day!! I mowed the lawn and trimmed the bushes. Thank God my back is better. I have been limping around for over a week! I must have pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve or something. It's slowly getting better.
Yesterday I went in for a (routine) colonoscopy and ended up having a cat scan. What fun! For the former, I had to starve for a day and a half and for the latter, they pumped me full of air. All's well that ends well...as they say!
Bad news about my daughter's "old" house. It needs a completely new roof. I've gotten estimates, so far it sounds like it will cost between $8,000 - $10,000 !! Although it's still in discussion... it looks like it won't be covered by insurance. So I don't know what to do. Even if we could get it fixed, who knows if it will sell? It's already been on the market almost a year! And I don't know if we could just "walk away" and take a total loss... I wish we could find someone to take it "as is" and at least make something off it. I'm so worried about it.
Grammadot - Glad Jessica is OK.
Fan - Eeewww! You and your bugs! Glad the flower came out of it ok.
Ann - Sounds like you had a nice day with your Mother. It's so wonderful that she is so active. Sounds like she's a lot of fun!
Hi to everybody else! Glad everyone seems to be having nice weather. _________________ -----Martha |
