Hi Pat and Fan....I had started a post for today too and we summited almost the same time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GOOD MORNING....no no no it's AFTERNOON TIME! Looks like everyone is taking advantage of the beautiful weather we're having. We are supposed to be having a heat wave with temps in the 90's....too darn hot for me. Tiffany and the kids are swimming today, so the kids will like that. They are all coming over this evening so Cody can mow and we are having Pizza for dinner. I am trying to get the Insurance Co and Apria together and on the same page. Today I'm waiting for a call from both of them. I told Jim it has come to a place where I'm about ready to pay what they say my bill is and have the insurance co. reimburse me.
**VICKI, I seen where you are getting ready to paint your kitchen. First of all, I'd leave the part that is WHITE.....WHITE. Seems that it must look good or you would be getting all those compliments on it. The part that you want to paint blue, I'd paint within the Delft Blue Family but still let the original color stand out. Good luck figuring it out.
**PATTI, What's wrong with Gary? Why is he on a weird diet...no veggies or fruit? Hope he gets well quickly. Have fun making your Limoncello with all those lemons. You might be getting company though....you know that Ann's Jim loves the stuff. Laughing Too bad you can't find something to put on your flowers to keep the bugs from eating them.
**FAN, I always hated bust ass busy days like you're going through. I never minded busy but not those kind. I loved the pic. of the Yellow Rose...I looked at it for a long time. It was my Moms favorite flower. I bought her a yellow rose bush one year for Mother's day so she would have yellow roses all season!
**CAROLYN, Running away from home I see. Grand Rapids, is that very far from where you live?I bet you'll be excited to get back home and see your newly painted bathroom. Wow, what is it about all the nasty bugs or whatever eating you girls gardens. It's awful!
MARTHA, No No more Fur-Babies! I know they would be good for my broken heart, with all their cuteness and kisses, BUT I have always said if anything ever happened to Andy and Kujo, we'd have No more animals! I have a hard enough time taking care of myself. You go girl....cutting down those 2 trees in your back yard. I mean just think what it would have cost you if you would have hired that done.....Hundreds maybe thousands of dollars!! You know I STILL haven't made Daniells Teriyaki Chicken and sliced it and putting it over a nice Salad sounded like a really good idea! Might have to give it a try!
Well girls, I better get this summit before it's Wednesday! Hope you all have a good evening! HUGS! _________________ Debbie
Good Afternoon, Friends!
Regarding my kitchen, it does not get a lot of sun during the winter (slant of the sun) or the summer (thank you big oak tree). I will definitely keep the white, which brightens the whole room.
I located these pictures online with more muted colors. What do you think? Does one really stand out to you?
Pat - Please don't feel lost and alone. Wishing we could have seen your post.
Fan - Enjoy your meeting.
Debbie - I see you are in the 90's, too. How nice that you are having a family dinner this evening.
Carolyn - Have you arrived yet?
PattiT - I must have missed something... what type of diet is your husband on?
Martha - Sounds like a lot of us will be chillin' in the air conditioning. I use Danielle's Teriyaki chicken for a lot too: chicken salad (sandwiches), salad, cold entree, etc... It is still one of our favorites.
~~Vicki
Hi everybody, I'm back from business I suppose . Just a bit of computer time for now and answer to your posts.
Vicki, I'd opt for a light shade of grey. If you have blue pottery it will stand out nicely and yet you do have the advantage of being able to set up differently coloured decorations on special occasions. And I agree with Debbie, keep the part that is white and leave it like that.
Debbie, glad you liked the rose . Roses are plenty at this time of the year. As for being busy, I hope it'll be just this week. Tomorrow and Friday will be busy too. But yesterday and today were relatively hectic. Luckily I still can find the time to look at the three sea gull chickens on the roof of our office
Enjoy hanging out with the grandkids tonight.
Martha, can't believe you brought down two trees single handed.
The apprentice boy send me the picture of the wonderful lasagna he was served at home . So just to give you an idea of how ruined it was....
and the pic below is my lasagna with fish for tonights dinner.
Which one would you like better?  _________________ Fanmajie
