Morning...

Ok, what happened to the months of January thru June?!!! I can't get over how fast this year has been going. Shocked Shocked

Fan - I had long hair years and years ago, shoulder length. Had grown it out for someone I was dating at the time, got tired of it and whacked it off. Haven't had long hair since, like my short hair SO much better.

Not much new...work, work and more work. Working today then off tomorrow and Saturday.

Hot and muggy here, we'll probably get a good t-storm out of it.

Take care,
Ann

Good morning Ann-Marie and everybody else, have a great day Very Happy .

Nothing new here either. The office is hot and muggy, right above Leiden there are thunderclouds in the sky. A promising T-storm on the way, but it's been there for hours already and nothing happens.
Our office chicks are getting bigger, one of them evidently aspires to become a "prima ballerina" Laughing Laughing Cool Cool

I sure will miss them when they fly out in another four or five weeks.

Ann-Marie, have fun at work and stay cool Cool Smile

Good Morning, Friends!

What a fun few days! Tuesday evening, we visited extended family for a picnic. Wednesday, we were at Adam and Melissa's for a potluck.

Attendance was down for both due to the heat and humidity, near or above 100 degrees. With local heat warnings and drought conditions, many were wondering if fireworks would even be permitted.

Ann - I agree with Fan.... have fun and keep cool. Our next "chance" of rain is Saturday. When is yours?

Fan - You have hot and muggy weather, too! Hoping those clouds produce rain. The chicks are so big. Thank you for sharing your pictures.

Have a great day!
~~Vicki

Hey Y'all:

Sorry I had a total meltdown the last time I was here. Cabin Fever & everything I tried to do turned to kaka all day. The downpour starting up again was the last straw. Still stranded, still getting things via boat.

Fan-wow those babies sure are getting motley looking - but their parents are proud of them Very Happy Very Happy

Y'all take care...

Pat/nubs - that's ok to have a meltdown...we all need to blow off a little steam now and again.

Fan - cute pic of the baby birds.

Hi Everybody!
Hot and muggy here too. Haven't had more than a sprinkle in two weeks.... and not much predicted either! I've been trying to move the sprinkler around but the grass is still getting burned yellow in places. Everything on the deck is growing nicely though. Have some zinnias and cosmos that are about 4-5 inches tall.

Ann - How are your outdoor kitties doing in this heat?

Fan - Your photos made me laugh and I said "Kitty Ballet" to myself before I even read your caption. First you made me appreciate your bugs.... now you've got me thinking sea gulls are cute!

HI to everybody else! stay cool!
