Morning everyone,
PattiT - I'm not use to working 3-11:30, and we were really busy on Tuesday...then I didn't sleep right that night. Lots of factors of why I was so darned tired yesterday and not feeling well. If I do get super tired I usually get sick for a day or so. Plus the way I eat doesn't help.
Axel - sounds like you have a very busy life, even after Kathy retired!
Fan - I did try to "cat nap" but Willow seemed to have this need to clean herself while she was laying beside me. The fact that I laid down and rested really helped.
They are saying windy with rain this evening. The weather is so up and down right now, and so many people have colds too. Blah!
Better get around here, get some things taken care of.
Later,
Ann _________________ http://bakespace.com/?ann_marie_pa

Good day Ann-Marie and everybody else,
We are in for a small heat wave tomorrow and this weekend. Up to 20C, unheard of this time a year. Myo has already left the furnace and is puttering around. And yet everybody around me is coughing and sneezing. How long will it take before I fall victim to that?
Tomorrow is a half day at the office. Started sorting out files again, since my big project is being postponed again due to a leaking roof. . I so totally had intended to finish it this year, but alas. .
Ann-Marie, if cat napping or laying down helps, keep it in the schedule How long do you have this evening shift?
Axel, will you tell us when you get short on activities?
PattiT, glad you liked the zucchini and cheese pie . _________________ Fanmajie

Hey Y'all:
Went to see dh yesterday & attend care meeting. He was very animated & carried on a fairly good conversation. But......he also has started up again with his "sleezy" talk. Found out at the meeting that they had reduced some of his meds to see how he would do. Unfortunately they will have to increase the dosages again to stop his comments & his roaming good hand. His talk made for a tense visit on my part.
The drive there was OK went over I-10 & used up a lot of gas. Coming home I used SR90. I felt fine then just before crossing the line into Suwannee county I fell asleep.
Woke up just as I was almost off the shoulder of the road. I pulled over ASAP & stopped. In just a few seconds a state trooper pulled up behind me. He had been behind me by a few cars & knew what had happened. Very nice young man. I told him I have had the problem before & he gave me some good suggestions, stopping in Madison which is about half way home, walking around or getting something to drink. Also the main thing he told me was to stop using cruise control on my drive home, vary my speed to keep me alert. Will certainly use his suggestions & I hope they help.
GS had trouble with his puter, seems somehow he picked up a trojan program from 2010 causing a crash-he worked on it yesterday while I was gone, thought he had fixed the problem & then it crashed 2 more times. He finaloly figured out which file the trojan was in & the only way to get rid of it was to totally wipe his hard drive clean & start fresh. Seems to be working OK now...thank heaven-he used my puter last nite to meet with his friends. That was a trip.
Y'all take care...
Congrats to Vicky on new GS...

Good afternoon friends. I woke up determined to feel better today. I have been having terrible tummy troubles. to put it delicately. I felt a little better this morning, but it didn't last long. Yesterday and today I have been in so much pain that it hurts to stand up. My SIL had called and invited me to go out for breakfast at our favorite morning restaurant. I hate to have to call her tonight to tell her I can't go. I haven't done anything with her for a long while and I miss her.
**Ann, that makes sense, why you would be so tired. I hope you get the chance to cat nap as much as you need. I used to work the late shift myself, it was hard to make your self go to bed right away, and then you sure don't get good sleep.
**Fan, my son has a half day tomorrow also. He was very happy to hear that. They are putting all new equipment to test hearing for the military and tomorrow they will be ripping out all the old equipment.
Your meal looked so good yesterday, but I think I will stick to a liquid diet for a while.
I think with all this up and down of temperatures, not knowing for sure how to dress, I am sure there many people sick.
Enjoy your long weekend.
**Pat, it is a shame that in order to keep hubby less "handsy" that they have to medicate him more, I hope they can find a medium where he can carry on a conversation but still be under control of his "bad" behavior.
That is so scary that you fell asleep behind the wheel. Is there any chance that you can get grandson or a neighbor or friend to ride along, then you would have someone to talk to and to make sure you don't fall asleep? Hey, maybe crank up some really lively music and sing along and "dance" as best you can while driving.
My eyes are feeling kind of heavy, think I will try and take a nap before hubby gets home. See you all tomorrow. _________________ Patti
