Melissa and the children don't come here as often since the baby has been born. She had a few errands in town. They also have a couple birthdays this week, so we had mini-cupcakes... the extra went home with them. Perfect timing for a visit.

Fan - Are these projects due to a new position, or additional duties to your current position?

PattiT - I hope the various specialists find out the source of your problems. Fantastic news that you did not get any rain/snow!

Martha - When is the Bakespace webcast? Once Bakespace dropped its instant messaging/webcasts a few years ago, I stopped looking for them. David did a lot of great demonstrations... much like the Food Network.

Morning everyone,

What a beautiful day -- blue sky and sun shine!! Makes me feel good to see the sun...everyone was so down when we were getting the hurricane clouds and rain.

Jim took the car over to the garage early this morning. Get this, it quit on me right at a busy intersection. Had to open my door and wave people around me. Embarrassing. It just quit, no click no nothing. Turned on my four-ways so people would know some thing was wrong, they didn't even work. All of a sudden the lights came on and my door started to ding, turned the key and it started right up. Kept telling Jim there was something wrong with this car, has been acting weird for the past few weeks and there has been a burning smell to it too. He thinks it's electrical so we'll see what the garage says. Oh! The other night I left work, I had locked it...it wouldn't let me in!! It did let me unlock the passenger side door. Strange, huh? Was telling a friend at work that this car is possessed!!

Haven't talked to Mom, need to call her later, want to see how Benji has been doing. We've had some frosts so hopefully that helps him.

Work has gotten busy, we gained a few extra critters over the past few days, I think we are up to 10.

Fan - no dentist, the tooth has actually quit hurting. It did hurt/ache yesterday morning but I think my sinuses/allergies were acting up. I sneezed, nose run and the tooth quit hurting.

Better get around here, have some projects that need to taken care of.

GOOD MORNING GIRLS.......Looks like a pretty day is in store for us today. Jim is at the Orthopedic doctor right now, probably his LAST visit, as they want him to work Monday! He still can not walk a long distance, so I pray that work doesn't make his foot worse. I'm supposed to be getting ready, we have a few errands to run too and today will be the last day to do it. The week-end is going to be the kids....they are spending the nite tonite and then tomorrow they will him get the leaves raked up. I guess some of the boys from the Scout dens are coming over too, part of their helping the community. I think that's very nice! I'm wondering if I should feed them lunch or give them money, I don't know, guess I'll talk to Tiffany about that.

Sorry I've been MIA all week...just haven't felt good, been sleeping alot too. Every time I set down I fall asleep and don't even realize it. I have however been wondering what everyones been doing....I'll have to go back and read the post when I have more time.

**VICKI, I so love your Graphics! Thank you for sharing them with us! So you got a visit with Melissa and the kids huh? Don't ya just love it when they come by? Especially since they don't come by as often as they use to. That's the way it is with Tiffany and the kids every since they moved about 45 mins. away.

**ANN, Glad your tooth has finally stopped hurting. Wow, that's really WEIRD how your car's been acting. Anything weird going on in the house yet? I was thinking you might have picked up a ghost that is a prankster. Keep us updated on what he does! LOL!

Debbie - I've "seen" people in here, mostly in the upstairs. A lot of it happened when Jim was on the road working...now that he's home hardly ever happens. Weird, huh?!!

Ended up the doc's office yesterday morning for x-rays. Don't know what's going on. Started on Sunday, felt like someone put a balloon in me and blew it up...by Thur my ribs and lower back ached terrible, couldn't stand it. He gave me a pill for irritable bowel syndrome...that has taken the bloated feeling a way. He told me I might be having gall bladder attacks. My sister had her's out a few years ago, my middle had his out this year.

Once I get this taken care of, going to the chiropractor...get a tune up. With all the walking, lifting, bending I do -- who knows whats out.

Hi everybody, have a smashing Friday

Just got back from cocktail night . Cleaned the cat litter box and finished a batch of laundry.
Vicki, my new projects are just part of the job I have. Once the departments do not use their records and files in for their working processes anymore they call me in for an arrangement for selecting and storage. On average a department does that once every ten years. Then I'm supposed to take care of it for another 20 years and make a 2nd selection. So half of my regular job is arranged in projects. The other half is in providing information about archiving, legal requirements etc.
Glad you had a good time with the grandkids.
Ann-Marie, glad your "toothache" is over. But gall bladder attacks are not exactly what I would call an improvement. Please take care.
Scary having your car acting up like that in heavy traffic. Just what you need with winter coming up. Hope they will find out what it is at the garage.
Debbie, sounds like you are up for a busy but fun weekend. Have you called your physician about the sleepiness? Is Jim happy about going back to work? Keep us posted on what his orthopedic doctor thinks.
Better hit the sheets for now, I think the alcohol is kicking in, cause I'm getting sleepy. See you all tomorrow
