Morning everyone,
Wow, we got a lake effect snow shower yesterday! I was stocking in the unit and I happened to look out, thought to myself, "man, the bay is awfully foggy looking." I walked up to the window and it was like "holy cow, it's snowing!" It covered the cars and the roof tops of the buildings, thankfully it didn't lay on the road.
PattiT - did they figure out what was wrong with your son?? Hope Madison is ok, cement floors are terrible to fall on.
Gotta get around here, head out shortly.
Take care,

Good Morning, Friends!
I'm stopping in during a special hair appointment... my 3-year old granddaughter is standing on the seat of my chair "styling" my hair, with every brush and comb she can find. Too bad it is not long enough for a pony tail or braids.
Ooops! Hair styling is almost over. Promised the computer to the two oldest grandchildren.
Hoping to check in tomorrow or Friday.
~~Vicki

GOOD MORNING GIRLS.....How is everyone today? Hopefully those of you that are sick or feeling bad will be better soon. Jim and I had a long talk about my health the other day. He said it hurts him to think that I'm getting right back to the way I was when I ended up being in the hospital last Dec. He said you need to take responsibility for your own health and follow the doctors orders, that no one can do it for me! He kept apologizing for being concern, but wanted me around for a long time. So I told him I would do better.
Our weather has turned COLD again just like everyone's! We had a few snow flurries the other day, but of course it did not stick anywhere. I guess we all should be expecting the cold and snow, but not wanting it or ready for it.
Right now I'm watching Avayah (she doesn't have school on Wednesday) Tiffany had to have some Blood work done this morning. She went to the doctor yesterday because she's been feeling so bad, heart pals., headaches everyday, diarrhea, blood in bowels, lots of stress. Doctor said it's stress and gave her some meds to calm her nerves, and is running some test on the blood.
**ANN, Aren't you glad those flurries didn't cover the ground? But those days are coming. How are your teeth doing...hopefully no pain.
**VICKI, I had to chuckle when you said "Special hair appt." and it was with your granddaughter fixing it. I get the same hair stylist too. I love to see what they come up with....one time I had 2 little pig tails in the front and Avayah was so proud of them, so I had to leave them in for a while. I actually forgot about them and had them in all day long!
**PAT, Sorry to her that your truck broke down again! There's nothing more aggravating than for a car to break down on you.
**PATTY, Oh my, you sure have had alot on your plate this week. Yes, Dec. 14th seems like such a long time away. But there are probably lots of people out there thinking I need to have this done before the End of year since my deductible has been meant! When is the last time you have heard from your SON? He should know better than to do something like that...working himself so hard. Then sweet little Madison, I'm sure she's probably just stoved herself up and will probably be very sore and in pain for a while. I'll keep all 3 of you in my Prayers!!
Well, I need to go potty, so I'll close for now. Hope everyone has a great day. HUGS! _________________ Debbie

Hi everybody, have a great day
Ann-Marie, congrats on the first snow of the season. You have beaten us in Europe . Have fun at work.
Vicki, did you make a pic of your new hair style? .
Nubbins, I can imagine you are totally in for a new car after all the trouble you are having with this one.
Debbie, must be nice having Avayah all to your self for the morning. Hopefully nothing is wrong with Tiffany. As for your health, if there's anything I can do, just let me know. My thoughts are with you.
Pattit, how are things at your place?
I had a busy day putting up an archive calamity plan together with the boss. And it looks as if we finally are going to order new stacks for the new archive storage next to our working room. Finally after almost a year of delay, debate, roof leakages and so on. Hopefully things come together in January next year.
Tomorrow I'll attend the congress of the professional society of information specialists and librarians. It's a special one this year, celebrating their 100th anniversary. _________________ Fanmajie

Hey Y'all:
Hope everyone who felt like KA KA yesterday is feeling much better today.
Of course the Green Monster started right up this morning. AAARRRGGGHHHH
That thing is just becoming just pure
GS helped me close up the hole left in the wall from removing the door yesterday. I still have the door buck to remove but that can be done later.
My Viking sewing machine I bought last year is broken. Seems the shaft thingy that you put the needle in is bent. I took it all apart & cleaned it all & that's how I discovered the bent shaft.
Dug out my Kenmore machine-cleaned & oiled it - finished up what sewing I had left with that. You know the Kenmore has the same features as the Viking but the settings are easier to change. Oh well, live & learn.
Y'all take care...

hi everybody!
I'm still trying to lick this lousy cold I have! So far nothing's working. I am achey all over, headache, coughing, stuffed up. I'm a mess!! I've been taking NightQuil and DayQuil..... I guess it would be alot worse if I wasn't taking them.
Nubbins - Aren't vehicles a pain in the butt? Mine is 10 years old and I've been lucky so far, but I've had plenty that nickel and dimed me to death! And the price of EVEN a used one is ridiculous!! Hope you can fix it.
Fan - Seems like this is a really busy time of the year for you! Hope your 100th Anniversary Meeting will be interesting.
Debbie - I'm glad Jim gave you a "talking to"! You NEED one every once in awhile.
Vicki - You should have taken a picture of you new hair-do! I remember my daughter trying to give me a make over when she was little. She used to give me a comb-over that went in three different directions!!
Ann - I've seen some flurries too, but nothing on the ground yet. I dread it coming... but it's alot better than RAIN!!
Well, "Hi" to anyone else who stops by....have a good day! _________________ -----Martha |
