If I hurry up and type it I can still say good morning every one. I have started little odd jobs to get ready for Thanksgiving. My son and his friend Tina are bringing their dog, so I wanted to dog proof the guest room. I put some things in my closet and discovered some items that hubby has squirreled away and quite possibly forgot about. One is two games of fishing that I am sure people might like to play for entertainment on Thanksgiving, they are still in the original package! I also found in the back of our closet our old Poloroid instamatic camera. I thought I would check out E-bay before I pitched it, there is one for .99 so I don't think I will hold on to it. I use this time of year to get rid of some of the things hubby hoards. Next on my list will be the thousands if not millions of free address labels he has been holding on to. I almost forgot about my mission for while he is gone.
While hubby is away I get to watch all the shows he doesn't care for, it will be hard to turn the remote over when he gets home, tee hee. I even laid in bed to watch a show yesterday and ended up taking a much needed nap. I had been up since 4. Slept better last night so I won't be needing a nap today.
It is a good time to get caught up on all my cooking blogs I read also. I might even try my hand at making a BakeSpace cookbook. Who knows.
**Fan, I will love seeing the shop windows all decorated for Christmas. It must be wonderful to be getting around without crutches this year. We have places that have been having Christmas sales for a couple of weeks now. I hate the way the rush the seasons. We actually saw stuff out before Halloween! I think it is terrific that Santa will be waiting for December to make an appearance.
Sounds like you day had an awful start, a headache AND no hot water! Did you know that they say the caffeine in coffee is supposed to help relieve a headache. I hope it is all gone by now.
Lasagna sure sounds good, I haven't made that in a while.
**Vicki, I am still working on the first bottle of sport drink my son brought, I am not a big sweet drinker. I feel pretty dehydrated so I am determined to finish it and move onto the other one.
Will you have a crowd for Thanksgiving? I can never remember if it is at your house or someone else's.
**Ann, I get just as aggravated with the loose cats in our neighborhood. I have had many plants destroyed by their using my flower beds for cat boxes. How is your Mom and Benji doing. I hope his cough is much better.
I am going to see if something sounds good to me to make something to eat. Hubby called while I was typing this and he said he didn't get a deer yet. I am sure he is disappointed about that. _________________ Patti

I guess with phone calls etc. I missed Carolyn stopping by. Hello and sorry to hear that things are difficult with Thanksgiving coming. A sore shoulder has to make everything harder and more painful. I am still trying to pin down who all will be here for Thanksgiving also.
Bye again every one. _________________ Patti

PattiT - called Mom yesterday, twice...her and Donna were baking cookies. Guess they are getting a head start on their Christmas baking. Poor little Benji, could hear him in the background coughing now and again. Would like to bring him up here and have our vet look at him, just for the "second opinion." Mom said that the only time he really does it is if someone comes to the door and he gets all excited. Poor old fella. _________________ http://bakespace.com/?ann_marie_pa
