The day started very chilly and frosty. The sun had virtually no chance today and now before 16.00 she has fled this part of the world already.
The office on the other hand is steaming hot, and I'm getting sleepy. Can't wait to leave.

HELLO FAN, ANN AND OTHERS Stopping in.....FINALLY got a chance to stop in and chat. Right now, I'm not going to be able to take the time to read the past few days posts, but hopefully tonite I can get caught up on everyone's news.This week-end was packed with Family related things and I never made it over here....not that I wasn't thinking about you ALL, I WAS! It's freaking chilly here and I hate it. Off course it'll be getting colder, so I should stop whining! I think that the yard is all in order and ready for the snow, as Cody mulched again Saturday, Now if I could just get Jim to clean off the porch. He keeps saying he needs to do it, but never acts on it.

Speaking of Jim, he went back to work today! The Orthopedic doctor wants to have an MRI on the foot because it's STILL NOT HEALED! Well, why didn't he do that these past few visits, maybe something could have been done to help it heal correctly. I have no faith in any doctor in this area!!

I need to write out a small grocery list.We are eating at Jim's Parents, but I'm taking some food too. Here's a list of what I am taking: Roasted Turkey Breast, Dressing, Noodles, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Fruit Salad, Hot Rolls, Pumpkin Pie and Ice Tea! What are you girls doing for Thanksgiving dinner?

**FAN, Sounds like you and Us are having about the same kind of Weather. Nice and Chilly! Why do they keep you guys office so warm? Have you ever heard of Zebra or Giraffe Bread? They mentioned it was very popular in the Netherlands.

**ANN, OK, I won't tell that you are goofing off on company time....LOL! I think this time of year no one knows what temps to keep the heat on.I'm always cold, so I like some heat on.

Well, I really need to go, my kitchen is a disaster and I need to get it organized for when I start cooking, plus I need to find containers with lids that will hold things I need to take to Jim's Parents!. You ALL have a good day. HUGS!

Hi everybody

Finished yesterdays leftover lasagne, so dinner was quick and easy
No Sinterklaas shop windows yet on my way home, but the trees in the Doezastraat were glowing in the dark

Debbie, sorry to hear Jim's foot still hasn't healed. I agree with you they should have looked into it the last time. I know about the giraffe bread. In my language we call it Tiger bread, but in the United Kingdom the name was changed into Giraffe bread some years ago. About the Zebra bread I'm not sure, I suspect it to be a chocolate marveled sweet bread.

Hello friends, hubby came home this evening so I won't be on here long. I did a little dusting today, rested, a little dusting, rested. The Dr.s office called to make sure I sent my C-Diff test in, I was glad that my son took it in to the lab today. Unfortunately the Dr. said it can take up to a week to get the results. I just feel weaker every day, soon I will just go to the hospital. it is getting ridiculous. Five weeks of this is just too much. Enough about that.
I have to make up a store note for Gary to get the last of the things for Thanksgiving. I sure hope I don't forget anything.
Debbie you had asked about Thanksgiving, I always host it here. I make most of the meal, AnnMarie (Madison's mom) brings candied sweet potatoes the son from Philly said he will bring a surprise, my sister will bring brown and serve rolls and some ice cream to go with the pies I will be making. Thanksgiving is I think my favorite holiday. The meal is my gift to everyone and I don't have to worry about if they like it or if it fits, everyone enjoys it. I am doing something different this year, I took index cards and put "I am thankful for.." on them, everyone will put something on their card and then put them in a basket, we will read them and guess who wrote it.
It seemed really nice and warm this afternoon but now tonight I am feeling pretty cold. I think I will get a blanket and warm up in it.
**Fan, those twinkly trees were so pretty. I hope you were able to stay awake until it was time to go home. I will have to look up the Tiger bread to see what it is.

**Debbie, I am glad you found your way over here. I can't believe that Jim had to go back if his foot wasn't completely healed. That is a shame. I agree that the Dr. should have taken an x-ray last time Jim was there or before he returned to work at least.
I guess you and I will be cooking and baking up a storm this week.

I am going to find a cuddly blanket.
