Good Morning, Friends!

The lightning was brilliant and the thunder was booming as we drove home from Adam and Melissa's home last night. Right now windchill temperatures have dropped into the 20's, and the forecast includes SNOW this afternoon/evening. Brrrr! (And, no...I did not go out for the Black Friday rush/crush.)

We had such a nice day with Adam and Melissa, and our arms were full of grandchildren. With warm 60-degree temperatures, the grandchildren spent a little time playing in the backyard with neighborhood children. Now, I can't wait for Eric and Mary's visit today.

Ann - Are you working today? How did your turkey thigh recipe turn out?

Debbie - Do you have more family time today?

Fan - Your weekend is well on its way.

Hey Y'all:

Glad everyone had a great day yesterday.

My mood has improved a little, but "stuff" continues on.

Was giving the truck a bath Wed. & happened to look at the tag on the back...sticker on it expired 4/12. I had forgotten that I didn't renew it this year.

So...now I must go to DMV - transfer title to my name - buy new antique tag & sticker. But before I can do all that I have to go to the Court House & pick up a certified copy of my POW-I sent my last copy to the union in MD. Hopefully I won't have to pay taxes because truck is going from husband to wife, so it won't cost me an arm & a leg to do this.

Finally changed the coverage on my Dish- cut everything out but the basic channels. I didn't realize (until they were gone) how many shows I watched on channels I no longer have.

Hi everybody, hope you are surviving Black Friday

I really enjoyed the first day of my long weekend. Managed to send my Sinterklaas gifts to Tokyo, then took a real long cat nap with Myo on the couch. Tomorrow Sinterklaas will hit the city of Leiden, if the weather holds up I might go and have a look.
I made some pics of the fish in the pet shop next door. Not as easy as it looks, these little critters are so agile.
