Morning,

22 little critters! Shocked Crazy.

{{{Tango}}}

Debbie - the only way (that I read) to fix Benji's trachea is to put him on a strict diet, lose weight. Would love to be able to take him to our vet for a second opinion but like everyone else just can't afford to do it, have our own two kitties to take and get their shots. Sad

Not much news really. Getting excited with the possible "snow storm" that we are to get on Friday. Very Happy Yeah, I know, crazy to think like that but we are in desperate need of the snow this year as are so many parts of the US, need to get out of the drought.

Take care,
Ann

Hi Ann-Marie and everybody else, have a smashing Humpday Laughing

Ann-Marie, up to 22??. That's a lot of hectic work. I wish you a very white Christmas Wink
Debbie, glad you checked in. Hope you had a good night of sleep last night. I think it's really sweet of Jim putting up the tree together with the grandkids. Must have been wonderful to see them in action together and you are right you should have had a camera ready for it. Get them batteries girl Rolling Eyes.
Tango, hang in there. We love you and pray for you.

I had a day of failures. Bills coming in, ordered Christmas presents not being deliverable and stacks for the new storage not being put up at work due to a decision of the Board of Directors. It was too noisy for them to hold a board meeting. So now it has to be resumed in the first week of January Twisted Evil
But it also means that I'm not on standby anymore till January the 2nd. Very Happy

And as for dinner, anyone for creamy coconut rice with chicken and peanuts?

HELLO ANN , FAN & OTHERS to come in.......Today has been a waiting game for me. Starting off with the Trash men. Jim and I usually give them cash or a Gift Card for Christmas, so I'm waiting for them, they usually come about 11:30 and it's 2 already! Then there is Jim, he's not home for lunch yet, might not be home though because his Boss is coming in town to see Jim and the other guy that's leaving. Anyway, I'm going to wrap some gifts. Also have Cody's Birthday present to wrap. I need to get everything wrapped by Friday afternoon and put somewhere because the kids are spending the nite and I don't need them going through all the goodies!I seen on "PINTREST" where this Woman has 3 children and she wraps each child #1 gift in the same paper, child #2 gift in a different paper but all wrapped in that paper and so on...there are no names on the gifts, that way no child knows what gift is there's. Then when she put all the goodies in their socks, she puts a square of their paper in there too. I thought it was a cute idea and next year I'm going to do that for the grandchildren!

**ANN, Boy 22, that'll keep you girls a hopping.Don't work yourself too hard or you won't enjoy the Holidays. Do you have to work Christmas? Sure hope a diet helps little Benji.

**FAN, Sounds like you got a little reprieve, but boy look out the first of the year. Your Chicken and Rice looks really good. You always seem to make such appealing meals. Now if I were cooking for just me, you either see an ole Sandwich OR a bowl of Cereal!

**TANGO, We are here for you! Thinking of you all the time and hoping all the Praying that we are doing helps with your healing process!

Well, girls, I need to get wrapping paper, scissors and tape out and get busy! Have a wonderful rest of the day. HUGS!

Hi Debbie, sounds like you have quite a few things to do for today. I hate those waiting game days. Luckily I've managed to finish the waiting stuff, hopefully for this year. You better hurry wrapping up. I remember us as small kids really going out hunting for the gifts my parents tried to hide from us. It made them quite creative in finding hiding places Laughing . One year my dad had the gifts in a huge sack hanging in the top of the barn and we couldn't find it. He told us when we were a lot bigger. Laughing .
I might go to the office again tomorrow. This time not for work, but for the annual Christmas lunch. Gotta take out my battledress, I guess.

Thought I would stop in before I head for bed. Looooong day for me and tomorrow will be quite busy also. We took off this morning and Gary dropped me off at Wegman's while he went to apply for health insurance. then we went to Walmart and had lunch at Red Robin. When we got home and had all the goods put away I finished up the gift wrapping, hooray! Then my SIL called and we talked about the Christmas eve. get together. I invited her to church on Sunday, Madison is getting babtized. She will be one of the youngest in her church to get babtized. She demonstrated to the pastor that she knew exactly what it meant and that she really was ready. I just have so many reasons to be proud of her. Sorry if I bore you all.
**Debbie, I guess we had the same experience with our Christmas tree. I told Gary not to bother with a tree this year. He brought up the desk top one we have and spent quite a while decorating it. Yesterday he fixed up our bay window like Madison wanted it. We have good guys don't we. I can almost picture your Jim and the grandkids decorating your tree. That would have been a great picture to have.
**Fan, enjoy your lunch with the co-workers. Yum, that coconut rice, chicken and peanut meal looked so good. I am thinking not being on standby is a good thing for you. But, I think it means a noisy return to work.
**Ann,whew, critters keep coming along quickly don't they. Poor Benji, and your poor Mom, if she has to put him down I am sure it will be very hard on her. Yep, I keep hearing about the big lake effect snow coming for you.

Dr.s appt. in the morning to check up on my blood pressure, it has been good for so long and now it seems to have gone haywire. Then to the grocery store. When we get home I need to try to find some insurance for Gary. The place he applied to today said they would have to double the quote they gave him because he had elevated cholesterol and because of the incident with diverticulosis. He is quite depressed this evening because he feels like he is uninsurable. I hope I can find something reasonable.

**Tango, hang in there. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
**Martha, sounds encouraging with your mom. Whether you get your decorating done or not, I am sure you will have a nice Christmas. Do you have snow headed your way this weekend? My nephew who lives in Rochester is headed here tomorrow evening. He will be coming here for our Christmas eve get together.

Time to head off to bed, hope everyone gets a nice nights sleep.
