Hi everybody, have a great day
This morning I took out my best shorts and prettiest T-shirt for the Christmas lunch at the office. Oh yes, and a thick legging too because of the cold wind . It's very cold and rainy today and up north they are expecting snow and glaze ice.
The main hall of the office was turned into a buffet room with lots of sushi, wraps and other yummy things.
But since I wasn't working this morning I missed the Director who according to the tradition personally handed out the Christmas goodie bags. So I'll have to wait till January to get it.
On the way back I saw these two young ladies trying to embrace the cold wind on the bridge over the Rapenburg. Must have been a school assignment, I guess

Fan - too funny about the girls. I was doing that at the Lake the other night, the nice warm breeze felt good.
Debbie - yep, work Christmas Eve & Christmas Day but was told if it was calm could leave a little early. _________________ http://bakespace.com/?ann_marie_pa

**Fan, the main hall looked beautiful and very festive. I would hate having to wait to see my goodie bag. Not a fan of sushi so that didn't tempt me, but the caprese on a stick looked very good. Seems like the girls on that bridge would have been cooooooold.
**Ann, loved the pictures of kitty under the tree, I think most cats pick that as a favorite spot. I hope you will be leave early, maybe some of the critters will go home for the holiday and leave you an easy day.
Went to the Drs. did some grocery shopping and then when we got home Darryl who is off until after the holidays came to have lunch with us. The afternoon has been spent trying to get insurance for hubby. I filled out another application for him and sent it electronically. Hopefully he will have better luck this time. Tomorrow I am going to mix up cookie doughs so hopefully Madison and I can decorate cookies on Sat.
Hope everyone is finishing up getting ready for the holidays. It is coming at us pretty fast. _________________ Patti

Hey Y'all:
Pattit-
I enjoy hearing what everyone's grand kinders are up to.
I had been cutting out what I needed to start a new quilt & then decided to make myself a Christmas tree table topper. It is made using Yo Yo's. Finally started assembling the yo yo's I had made & about 1/2 thru the thread was coming untied. I had chosen polyester thread-which was a big mistake. It can't be used for hand work. So now I am resewing all the work I had done with cotton thread. Nothing like doing something twice. But then on the other hand I really don't have much else to do right now.
Y'all take care...
