Hi all
I too couldn't get in here either was getting a critical error message. So glad Babette fixed it!!
Wow y'all wrote books today!! LOL Sending Prayers to all!!
So here's the update on me. I will have 4 months of chemo here in town than a month off, than go to Chapel Hill and have my bladder removed. Also any parts they think are comprised. Upper CT scan shows it has not spread up there. I will meet my chemo Dr. here on the 8th of Jan. And will tell me when it starts. It's in the muscle of the bladder & it's the invasive kind. I don't like the fact that they can't tell me if they can make a new bladder out of my intestines or have a bag on my tummy. That's up to the pathology report?? And I will not know till I wake up?!!
I'm full of mood swings, crying jags, snap at people so far no one has snapped back!!
I got my boss to cut 2 inches off my hair last night. I have had only 2 trims since Johnny died was growing my hair to where his was! I think losing my hair is going to be very traumatic for me, I'll have nothing to hide behind??!!
Sending love & prayers to all!! _________________ http://bakespace.com/?tango

Good morning everybody, have an awesome Sunday
I'm still feeling crappy, running around like a beheaded chicken and trying to locate hankies. I've called my cousin and told her I wouldn't be the best of company tonight at her B-day party, so we made a dinner appointment for next Saturday.
Babette, my New Year's plans? Can you imagine I have agreed with taking pictures at a New Year's dive in a lake half an hour driving away from here early on New Year's morning??? What was I thinking?
Carolyn, glad you checked in. Happy to hear your Christmas went okay. Have fun with the family on Monday despite of all the problems. Remember having a fun day is something nobody can take away from you. Hang in there.
Tango, prayers to you too. It must be so confusing and upsetting to deal with all the things coming up. You are in my thoughts.
Gotta crash down on the couch for now, probably without Myō. She doesn't like me when I'm sneezing and coughing. TTYL. _________________ Fanmajie

Morning everyone,
Carolyn - how much snow do you have up there?? Seen you got pounded before we did.
Fan - ugh, colds...they wear me out. Hopefully before New Year's you will be able to kick it and enjoy the festivities. Can always make a hot toddy...hot tea, honey and some good brandy.
Tango - hugs & prayers to you, my friend. Please keep us updated as much as possible.
They said we were to get 2 to 4 more inches of snow overnight, can't really tell. I do know the car is covered again. Guess we are to get more lake effect today, don't mind, I'm home!
Need to go through my Pillsbury magazines today and see which ones I am missing, found one up at Thrifty Shopper yesterday that was on my "don't have list." I did stop the subscription to them a while back, they started doing their cookbooks like other magazines -- the cut-out recipes type.
Would like to have gone to Walmart today, but I think we'll just hunker down here at the house, keep warm and off the roads.
Take care,

Hey Y'all:
No snow here but it is a tad on the cold side. The sky is clear & blue & the sun is out.
Had a neighbor take me to the car rental place Friday.....should have known something was wrong when I didn't see any cars on their parking lot. The poor manager was calling all over the place trying to get cars in. They asked if I would be willing for them to take me down to Perry (an hour away) to pick up a car. I finally convinced them to postpone my reservation until next Friday & they gave me a lift home. You could have cut the stress in that place with your finger, just needed to get out of there, get home & eat something. Didn't plan on being there for 1 1/2 hours. Will most definately call before I leave home next Friday & if my car isn't there I'll have them call me when it is.
My tree is still up but I am not plugging in the candles in the windows. Have no idea when I will take it down.
No plans for New Year's Eve.
Thanks for the birthday wishes.
Debbie I laughed like a fool at your card. We must have the same sense of humor.
Hope all that are sick get better quickly...

It sounds like you are in good hands. Funny thing about hair...it always grows back. Keeping you in my prayers.....
Y'all take care...

Tango, I'm so glad you are checking in. I have been peeking in every day to see how you are doing. My friends in the Ladies of Charity are praying for you and have been asking about you when I talk to them. They are a powerful prayer group and will continue to pray for you however long it takes to get you back to perfect health. Prayers coming your way.......k.
Pattit, I saw where you had some good news/bad news from your doctors. Focus on the good and I'm sure things will be fine. Have you ever taken Gaviscon? My friend just was diagnosed with an inflamed esophagus, ulcers, and something else, can't remember what, and she is taking it.
I was tested for Para-Thyroid, but it turned out it was OK. I actually was hoping that was the cause of my kidney stones. I have seen people who have had the surgery, and the scar is not that big or noticeable. Hang in there.
Happy New Year to everyone else, hope it's a good one!! _________________ Karen
