Morning everyone,

Fan - hope you are feeling better today. The flu and cold that are going around in our area is nasty, it's putting people in the hospital.

We have 13 little critters...kind of relief to go in and find that many. Smile

Was able to get caught up on a few things, which really helps if we get really busy again.

We are to have some nice temps in the coming week - 50's and by the end of the week 60's. There is our January thaw...but it's after the thaw that worries me. We can get some really bad storms yet.

Time just got away from me yesterday and I never got a chance to get on-line yesterday. I slept terrible last night, I could have got on-line then I guess. I was determined to try to get to sleep and I think I did about 3:30. Tomorrow is my youngest sons birthday and also his roommates. We go to the Farm Show with them every year and this year they asked us to go to a restaurant in Lancaster with them afterwards. That will be a lot for me to do but I am going to try. I told hubby if I need to I will sit in the main arena and wait for them. I love to go see the Percheron's, Clydesdales and then I just have to go see the vast varieties of ducks, geese and chickens. That are the two main things I like to see and also the made in PA area. We will be leaving early in the morning and I am sure I will not be able to check in tomorrow.

Madison won her events, she was kind of upset she didn't better her times, but I kept telling her that she was sick and it was great that she did as well as she did. I went out to the car to sit after her events and missed that one of the girls on her team had a seizure, Gary tried to get her out of the area so she didn't see the commotion. Afterwards when we were out for dinner, she said oh, she had a seizure during practice one time. The girls mother is a nurse and was there so that was good.

**Ann. sounds like it was nice to be able to get caught up on somethings. I know what you mean about the weather, it will be nice this week, but it is kind of waiting for the other shoe to fall. I am sure there will be more snow and bad weather to come.
**Nubbins, what wonderful news, about your husband doing so well. Seems like all cars use a lot of gas, when you see the total on the pumps.
**Fan, I think it is a wise decision to stay away from work a little bit more. Seems like I keep hearing in the news that people are getting secondary illnesses on top of what they have and that it is dangerous. Are you still coughing? Has your appetite returned?

Good Morning To My Favorite BakeSpace Girls....Sorry I haven't been on for a few days, But seems like all I do is sleep. There's been some stress in the house too, as Tiffany and her hubby had Separated and her and the kids moved here for 1 whole day! He kept telling her to come back, pleading with her and I know she still loved him deeply was just upset with him over a few things. After talking with me, Jim, his Mom and a few others she decided to go back. I know the children will be very happy as they were very distraught when they got her Sunday evening..they are all very very close to their Daddy! Anyway things are back to normal and the dog is even happy

Woke up this morning to the sun shinning through the bedroom window. Here lately it's been so cold and grey looking outside, you feel like sleeping in, Typical Winter day! Al on the Today Show says we are in for a few really warm days and the low 60's will be here for my area which will seem like a heat wave!

Today is Jim's Birthday and I already sang Happy Birthday to him...Not sure if he was ready for that at 6 in the morning, but I wanted to be the first one to say it. Jim's Sister is going to take us out for lunch for his birthday. Tiffany is going to meet us, so we'll have a mini party for him. I'd like to have a Party for him, but I'm not able to get it together. He loves the Dairy Queen cakes and I thought when Tiffany and the kids don't have anything to do in the evening, we do that!

Yesterday got some papers to fill out from the Health insurance where Jim use to work. They are going to pay for their portion of it fro 21 weeks ans we do the rest, THEN after that we can still carry it BUT we would have to pay $1500.00 a month because I'm Disabled and have on going Health problems! Now who in the heck can afford that much for insurance?? I set and think now, when I was 20 or 30, I didn't have a care at all about insurance,never had to use it...NOW I desperately NEED and it's beyond reach. I know we aren't the ONLY people in the USA worried about this, so I say Bring on Obama Health Care and oh yea, throw in a free Cell Phone too, because when Jim lost his Job they took his cell phone too!

Hi ANN and PATTI, Right now I have now time to do personals, I need to get ready to leave for a lunch date. I'll check back later.

OK enough whining about that, I think I'll close this Chapter, but wanted to say Hello to everyone, it's been awhile since I've been on-line. Prayers for all my Family AND Friends that need them, they DO help! Have a great day to all too! HUGS!

I'm still at home, but improving. Some of my taste buds already have returned, though the ones I need for cooking still need to come home I guess. I'm getting by on home made tomato chicken soup and toast Laughing

. Planning on a burger with mushrooms for dinner.
Started listening to the CD's I had for Christmas. For today Alice Cooper was a better choice than Amy Winehouse. The volume of my cough overpowers Amy's music. Laughing

Ann-Marie, down to 13? That's good news.
PattiT, that really sounds like fun. I'd loved to go there and take pics of the horses and other animals. Enjoy your day tomorrow.
Debbie, congrats on Jim's B-day. Was he awake enough at 6 am to realize it was his B-day?. Luckily Tiffany and Matt made up and are joining the mini party too. Have fun tonight.

Thanks for asking about me Fan,Deb,Nubbs and Patti been sort of in and out. just took down my christmas tree and got thinks put back where they belong but i am running out of storage space with so many people in the house.
Tracey still plans on moving out in a couple months and it is working on her dad already not to have enough financis to cover all the bills. I said if we have to we wont eat for awhile. rather have a house and a truck to go places in.
Deb i am with you on the stress of your daughter and her husband my daughter sherry moved out of her beautiful home to a apartment condo because they are not getting back together i guess it divorce time my poor grandaughters are so upset .
We have not done much of any visiting over the holidays this year except are parents houses . the gas up her is so high still. I just park my but at home and be bored with the tv that is so many commercials its redicules.
Did any one here watch the bachler show last night i think its getting a little stupid myself the girls are so ignorent some of them. well wanted to say hi and thanks for thinking of me does anyone know if dd pies daughter had her baby yet a boy or girl.

Hi Everybody!
Sorry I haven't been around. I stayed at my daughter's house for a week while they went on a vacation to Austin, Texas. I had to babysit my grand-puppies. Now I know for sure why I'm a CAT PERSON! All they want to do is go in and out all day....starting at the crack of dawn! OK, it was really 9:00am but to me that's the crack of dawn. I tried to get on the internet while I was there, but I couldn't figure out how... and I don't know my passwords. either.

So I'm back home again. My Mother has been worrying me. She's not happy sitting around all the time, but she can't get around by herself either. And then they put her on IVs because there was something wrong with her kidneys. Turns out she was just dehydrated.

I did get the Christmas stuff sorted out and put away. The clutter was driving me crazy.

The snow is still up to my thighs, but now it's getting dirty looking and melting. And there are so many deer tracks (and bunnies, racoons, etc) that my yard looks like one of those wildebeasts migrations went through.
It's supposed to stay mild for the rest of the week. Like Ann said...after that who knows?? Shocked

Then there was that shooting of a bunch of firemen!! I don't know if the news of that went national, but it happened only a mile or so down the lake from me! What is the world coming to anyway???

Hope everyone is feeling better. Fan, I hope you get out soon (we miss your photos!)

Everything went as planned this morning. Didn't hurl till I got home Sad

than had to go for blood work @ 2:30 than to a chemo class at 3:00.
Chemo starts 1/17/2013 @ 8 am
