Hello everybody,

Worked yesterday, we have 16 critters and more are to go home through the weekend.

Off today and tomorrow!! Very Happy

Fan - nope, no snow here...it's actually quite windy and it's about 39º. We are to get snow Sunday through Wed...and of course I work every day. Don't mind driving in it, it's the other guy that worries me. Have seen some DUMB things in nasty weather.

Martha - so you are the one that got all my snow!! Shocked

Was so darned cute, was sitting here watching some thing on Youtube and the background music was opera...Willow sat here on the desk and listened to it. She kept looking at the speakers.

Guess I'll get around here, see what I can get into today...not much, tired.

Morning girls, just barely, ha ha. Hubby went to work today, we decided to skip Madison's swim meet today. We are going to visit them at home tomorrow. I am waiting to hear how she is doing, I guess maybe her parents are helping out and they wont be able to call until it is over.
I made some butterscotch brownies for hubby to take to work this week. I might make something later to take along tomorrow. Did the laundry yesterday, and we are just having blueberry pancakes and bacon for dinner so I don't have a lot to do today. Guess that is a good thing.
**Martha, no snow here either. We did have very icy trees on Wednesday, I was wishing I could have taken some pictures of it, it was really pretty. Anyone looking at your daughters house yet? My DIL's mother has her house listed and no one has come out to look at it. I hope they both come into some good luck and have someone make a nice offer.
**Ann, busy busy. Good thing you have some time off to recoup. We have outdoor plans for Friday and they are calling for rain here, I am guessing it will be snow for you. Hope you and Jim find some fun things to do.
**Fan, do I need to volunteer to drink cocktails for you? I would be glad to help you out. It was a really good idea to get to the GP, I would hate to think what could have happened if you hadn't gotten some antibiotics quickly. Did they give you any kind of ointment to put on it or anything? Take care.

Hello everyone been days since I have been here . Everyone in my house is getting the flu except Charlie he had his flu shot. My daughter has been sick in bed for 2 days my grandaughter is very sick with it has 104 temp. and is very congested hope it does not go up more.
It is snowing here now and we got about 6 inches of snow yesterday. hubby is out blowing snow now before we get more.
Well need to keep the chicken soup on hand so am going to make some home aid soups, Hope all ia well with everyone and not to many have the flu it is nasty .

Hi everybody, have a smashing weekend Laughing

It's been a very cold day today, clouded with strong winds. A perfect day for being inside and play in the kitchen. But I wasn't quite up to it, the antibiotics are clearly kicking in and made me feel tired. So when my neighbour offered me a share of the nasi he made yesterday for reheating, I was really pleased.
Added a bit of broccoli and it was done.

Ann-Marie, you oughta steal some snow from Martha Laughing

PattiT, I could have waited a little longer, but with the weekend coming up I just didn't want to take the risk of having to go the ER instead of the GP. I didn't get anything to put on it, cause there's no wound and the bacteria is under the skin. But I do have to go back to my GP on Monday morning. Volunteering to drink my cocktails? I bet you would be glad to help out Rolling Eyes

Carolyn, this country is totally flu ridden. Almost everybody gets it, one after the other. Laughing

Keep an eye on your granddaughter, 104 is really high.

Morning everyone,

We are under a wind advisory and a Lake Effect snow watch. Crazy this wind. Woke me up a couple of times at night. There are some good sized branches laying out on the road.

Carolyn - one girl told me that works at the school it's really running it's course through the kids, in some classes there are only 4 or 5 students. Shocked

Fan - nah, don't need to steal any, it's coming today and then snow all through the week except Thur. I just hope it's not bad to travel in, don't mind the snow but like I've said, it's the other driver.

PattiT - yep, after our January thaw figured we would get a good snow fall.

Need to go to Dollar General today, load up on paper towels and toilet paper, paper plates, etc. Going to clean the oven today too. Other than that, whatever the day brings. Smile

Hope you all keep warm today!

Ann-Marie, my snow is already falling since two hours Smile

. And there's a cold wind too, so I'm staying indoors today. Wind advisory and snow watch, drive carefully if you go out to the store.
Still feeling crappy due to the antibiotics I guess. I made a bit of tomato chicken soup, but didn't really enjoy it. I had some laundry outside overnight and it came in frozen stiff this morning Laughing

In the past 1/2 hour or so we've had some good snow showers, the road is white. Glad I don't have to work today. Smile
