Morning everyone,

Hope all are doing well today. Snowing hard right now, going to have Jim take me in to work...he needs to stop and get kitty food on his way in to pick me up. Guess we are under a lake effect storm watch until Wed morning. Shocked

Don't know how many critters we have, haven't talked or texted with anyone over the weekend. Needed the break from work this weekend.

For those of you getting the snow and the cold, be careful and keep warm.

Update on me Sad

I feel like I have the flu & a stomach bug mixed together. My face is on fire, I'm tired & food is not appealing at all The one anti nausea medicine makes me sick so when they called to check on me yesterday she said stop taking it & try the other one. It's really weird one minute I'll be fine than the next I'll be violently sick & break out in a cold sweat. So not liking it!!!Ugghhhhhh my butt & back hurt from sitting so long. The nurse said I was a real trooper for my first time!! So I go back on the 24th @ 10:30 for just Gemzar it's just about 2 hours for that one & it burns my hand going in?? I have a nice bruise on my right hand & it hurts to touch! Trying different things to eat & keep down. Tried a soft boiled egg & toast this morning blech......... too slimy but Harley enjoyed it!! I'm doing OK with grape Gatorade,weak tea,water, hot coco, graham crackers & saltines.

Tango,
I read a lot of cards and when I read that one it seemed just perfect. I am sorry it made you cry. I hope your treatments get easier for you as you go along. Are there friends or family to help you out? Around here there are organizations that have volunteers to drive people to treatments and back home.

Ann,
I am glad that Jim is able to drive you to work. It sounds like you will be getting a good bit of snow. If the roads get too bad, do they make staying overnight there an option. Please be careful.

Trying to get some laundry done. Tonight's dinner will be cabbage and ground beef stir fry. Hubby picked up red cabbage instead of green, I am sure it will be okay.

Ann-Marie, we had snow overnight and it totally ruined the ice on the canals. No long distance skating tours through the country side for the Dutch this year. Crying or Very sad

Only speed skating matches on local outdoor skating rinks.
PattiT, red cabbage. Are you going to combine them with apples?

I went to see my GP this morning for my infected leg and to tell him that the antibiotics caused nausea. My leg is so much better since Friday, but I still have to finish the antibiotics. Luckily he did allow me to take the antibiotics two hours after the meal instead of one hour before. I think that may be quite a difference. Gonna try it out tomorrow.
For tonight I'm gonna tuck in early, it's awfully cold outside. TTYT.

Baby its cold outside its going to wind chills of -35 tonight they already closed the schools for tom. we still have the flu bug in the house but my grandaughter fever is 101 instead of 104.
Tango thinking of you and wishing you well.
I went to the docter and have bersites in my leg so more meds for me or shots. and he said rest and i laughed and said whats that with 6 people you dont have time to rest. and are washing machine is down ya just what i need.crap now what. well better finish supper have a great night.
