Morning everyone,
Wow...we are under a weather advisory til 10 AM - rain/sleet/snow and cold temps. They are saying the temp is to go up and it'll just be rain this afternoon. This sucks, after having 2 to 3 feet of snow on the ground and now it rains. Hate rain in the winter...makes every thing so icy.
Just puttered around the house yesterday, was fighting a sinus headache all day, even made my eyeballs hurt. Ended up falling asleep in the recliner last night, couldn't tell you what we were watching after 8:30.
Talked to Mom the other day, she said Benji is doing much better with his cough. The vet is going to keep him on the pill that helps with the cough, she also told Mom he'll always have this and that they will do every thing to make him comfortable. Mom told me she notices he coughs more in the mornings when they get up...the pill must wear off by then.
Don't have to go in til 10 AM today, curious to see how many critters we have. Kind of nice not having to get up so early, gave me a chance to sleep in a little bit.
Hope everyone that needs to go out today is careful.
Take care,

**Ann, glad that you got a chance to sleep in a little this morning. We are having sleet here. Hubby said he has seen some cars that have slipped off the road and some cars that have spun around and ended up facing the opposite direction. I will be worried about him driving all day today.
Nick (my son) had the surgery on Friday morning. He said they have been watching these lymph nodes for a while now. It started out that they were just watching them, then when they got bigger they decided to do something soon, then when they got the size of a baseball they told him he needed to come in right away for surgery. Odd thing, they didn't remove them so he still has a big lump under his arm. He has an appt. with the Dr. tomorrow, I will be on pins and needles until I hear from him. I cried when the train pulled away from the station. I just felt like I shouldn't be leaving him.
Hubby went to the bank on Thursday to get money for our trip and the truck shut off in the drive thru, had to get it towed to the garage to be fixed. Then when we got in the car at the train station the cruise control would not worked and the car made a clicking noise when the brakes were used? So, we pick up the truck, and leave the car for the mechanic. Grrrrrr. Hate spending money on vehicles but I am guessing it is a necessary evil.
As usual, I read and caught up on the posts but I will be darned if I can remember them.
Have loads of laundry to do, so I better get to it.
Hope everyone feeling badly starts to feel better. _________________ Patti

Jeez, what a day. My country has been turned upside down by our queen. She has kept everybody speculating for over two hours about what she was gonna say in her suddenly announced speech tonight. Then at 7 pm she told us in her speech that she's going to retire on the 30th of april and that the country is going to get a king and a queen instead of just her as queen. I bet she's no. 1 trending on the social media right now and we will be bored with the broadcasting of all her glorious moment tonight and after till the abdication.
So Vicki and Axel, don't miss it and put your tv antennas towards the Low Countries on the 30th of april
PattiT, scary. I really hope it turns out to be something harmless.
Ann-Marie, drive carefully on icy roads. Glad to hear Benji is doing so well on his medication.
Going to get my self some comforting chocolate drink and prepare my self for the "queen's shows". _________________ Fanmajie

Hey Y'all:
Fan I guess your Queen has had enough. She has certainly ruled during difficult times & deserves a break & a chance to live un-queenly for the rest of her life.
Patti I can't believe they didn't remove the glads if they are that large. Maybe the result of the tissue they did remove will determine what to do next. Will keep him in my prayers.

Ann I know what you mean. It used to be surreal to me that we could leave MD during a severe snow storm & the next thing I know we were in Jacksonville swimming in the ocean. GS more than I misses the quiet, smell, feel of falling snow.
Y'all take care...
