No interest in the Super Bowl here either. I will watch though, just for the commercials. My favorite one is always the Budweiser beer ones with the Clydesdales. I just loooooove those horses.
Madison came in 2nd in her first event, she had such high hopes and was promised money as an incentive by her parents so she was sad enough when she didn't get first but to top it off, the winner turned to Madison and said "Ha, ha I came in first." She came in first for her butterfly so that made her mood change. This was an event called the "All Stars" which last weekend they held the Championships and the best swimmers from all the area clubs and schools then moved on to the All Stars so we were all happy with her just qualifying but she was really sad about not doing better.
Madison, her parents, and a friend named Madison joined us for lunch at a diner then they went off to a place called "Monkey Joe's" for the girls to play. Hubby and I came home, us old folks were tuckered out. Ha ha.
**Debbie, I am glad that you got a chance to stop in. Things do not sound good with you at all. Not sure when I will hear anything about sons results. I sure hope it is soon though.
**Ann, good find, on the community cookbooks, my personal favs. I love looking around at Walmart, so much to look at. I love trying to find the clearance, it used to be a lot easier.
**Fan, glad that you got to visit with your cousin, to break up the somberness of the day.
**Carolyn, I wouldn't like being around all the loudness either, but I would watch the commercials some place quiet, ha ha. Hope you had some reading or something to do in your room with your ipod. I sure hope that washer gets fixed real soon, I would definitely not be too happy either dealing with that for so long.

I want to thank everyone who has been praying for my son, I really appreciate it.

See you all tomorrow.

Fan - I don't think you'd want me to crochet/knit you a pair...I'd end up knitting two left feet!! Shocked Laughing

PattiT - yep, love those horses too!! They didn't have many good commercials for Christmas this year...usually they show the polar bears and a few animal ones, nothing. Sad
