Morning everyone,

Not much new here. We did go over to Raccoon Park yesterday afternoon, and of course while we were there a big black cloud came through. Told Jim I wished we had thought to come over sooner while the sun was out. That would have been pretty - sun on the ice.

The snow is melting fast, don't know if it rained through the night or not...was too tired to notice. Guess we are under a wind advisory til some time tomorrow.

good morning Ann and everyone else that comes on.
Ann- loved the pics as usual. you always take such interesting ones.
Last night my gs Tommy told his mom that he wanted to sing on the Grammys show but they needed to change the name of it. cause it is confusing to the people that want to watch a show about grandmas!!!! He is always coming up with something funny.
I am slowly getting adjusted to these teeth. Slept without the bottom ones last night.

Glad to hear the snow is becoming more manageable. Some of the photos I've seen online look fake.

We didn't take off the social bar on the forums yet.... still working on redesigning the recipe pages and cookbooks. But until we get to the forums... check out the youtube button. We've been shooting a lot of new shows (our last guest was a winner of cupcake war).

We shoot new shows every week (although no show this week since it's valentine's day).

Our newsletters are up and running too.. if you haven't signed up for them... there's a signup box on the home page of BakeSpace.

Not much else going on... We will be running two contests soon - bacon recipe and cupcakes. Should be really fun! We'll also be publishing our cookie cookbook from our facebook contest. Stay tuned!

I'm totally worn out, but hardly managed to be very productive at the office. My cold is still bothering me. And the cold weather isn't helpful either.

Babette, how have you been lately, apart from being busy. Redesigning the recipe pages does that mean that I'll be able to post pictures from Flickr in the same way as I do now on the forums. So far I've never managed to post a pic in the recipe pages
Debbie, glad you checked in yesterday. Sure hope you'll get your foot treated today.

Sorry not sure how much I will be on for awhile. I am spending all my spare moments researching things to help my son with his battle with cancer. I tried to find transportation for his treatments and could not believe there is none for Philadelphia?! I guess they figure that you can take taxis or buses etc. Too me that seems way to risky, with being around sick people when he sure can not handle anything else right now. He slept most of yesterday and managed to go to work today, not sure how long he will manage to stay there. He is calling me now, be back later.

GOOD AFTERNOON GIRLS.....Today was supposed to be a rainy day, But when we left for the doctor the sky was so Blue with Big puffy clouds, with the temp of 55* and I said Thank You Lord for such a Beautiful day! I mean February is one of our worst "WINTER" months!

The doctor took a culture of the foot to check for infection, did alot of measuring and then did an ultra sound on both feet to check for blood flow to my feet. The left foot was 270 and she said that's NOT good and the right foot, the one I'm having trouble with, they couldn't get a reading at all! The doctor suggested we get a Vascular doctor to see me.

Jim just got home form getting the truck inspected...had to get tires before hand...almost $200! Then we got Health Insurance Cards in the mail and it said 1000 deductible, but we already got new cards saying $600 and that's what we sighed up for. What a BIG mess....I hate insurance companies, well I like them when I have a Medical situation coming up!

Tiffany and the kids will be coming here in a little bit, so it will be good to get kisses and hugs from my little ones...although Cody is almost as tall as me!

I guess I better get off here..Jim and I need to discuss this insurance mess before he calls them. I'll write more another time. Hello to everyone that checked in today! HUGS!

Back, Nick said he wasn't able to work a full day. He says he has to take the subway to and from work now also, he just doesn't have the energy to walk anymore. I am so surprised at how quickly he has gone downhill. He used to be a bundle of energy.
I made shephards pie for dinner tonight. I will post the recipe later. It is so easy the way I make it.
**Ann, the pictures were great as always, thank you for sharing. We had some sleet that really was hitting the windows loudly at bed time. Tonight it is looking really foggy. Hope the wind isn't too bad in your area.
**Gramma, That is so cute about Tommy saying people would be confused by the name Grammy's. Kids say the funniest things. I hope your dentures feel better and better every day.
**Fan, you are having a rough winter, with colds etc. I hope the worst is over for you. What did you have for dinner today?
**Debbie, I am so glad that you finally got your foot looked at. It was nice that the weather cleared up for you appt. Sounds worrisome about the blood flow to your feet. I hope you have an appt. set up with the vascular specialist.
Dealing with insurance is a major headache isn't it. I hope you don't get anymore bad surprises.
**Martha, isn't it good to know that there are still good people in the world. I am glad someone cleared the snow for you. That would surely have been a lot to handle for you. Glad to hear that you are taking advantage of the air line tickets. My son and DIL went to San Diego a few years ago. They loved the zoo there.
