Morning everyone,

Fan - how do you feel today? Hope that cold starts going a way. Sounds like your weather is like ours, up & down...no wonder everyone isn't feeling good.

Just hang out here at the house all day, didn't do much I didn't feel like it. Jim made us lunch, it was called "Sunshine Chicken"...delicious!! I put that recipe on our R&R thread.

**Ann, I have been stuck in the house for way too long. I think hubby and I will go pick up Madison after school for something to do.

Nick said they told him he will be getting three different kinds of treatment, medication, chemotherapy and radiation. The Dr. told him he will more than likely lose his hair. His heart is being affected so he needs to get some pulmonary tests done, along with PET scans and a bunch of other things. I am disappointed that they didn't give him something to help with all the symptoms he is suffering with. So things don't move ahead until all the testing is over with, they need to know how many things it might have spread to.

Good day everybody, have a smashing Humpday

I was back in the office today, still coughing but already feeling a lot better than yesterday . The weather is still very cold and sunny. Everybody still seems to buy new pullovers, cause I've seen a huge collection of them walking through the office despite office temps of 25C. With those temps I'm thinking tees and shorts.
For tomorrow we will have higher temps, but also a snow storm coming in. The railway company already has announced changing to extreme weather schedule, i.e. less trains. Not that I'll take a train tomorrow.
On a happier note, I surpassed the 45000 views on my Flickraccount .
Ann-Marie, I'm improving and my cold is weakening . I almost made a full office day. I've seen your recipe, looks good and I still have a supply of Basmati rice to try it out with. Something for the weekend.
PattiT, I suppose they don't want to overmedicate your son before his most necessary treatments, cause sometimes common medication may affect the cancer treatment. Hang in there, you and your family are in my thoughts.
As for everybody else, my heart goes out to y'all.

Hey Y'all:

Did you see that we have a new member?
Invited him to join us here, course he sounds young so he may not want to hang out with us "old folks"

Have been busy trying to clear out the sewing room to use for bedroom for gs's friend who is coming to stay for a few months.
Have moved my sewing area to the living room (have been wanting to do this anyway). Things I don't use too often are going in a tote.

Have also been working on a sewing order from my SD. I sent her pillow cases with cats & mice on them that I made for her birthday. The box was delivered while she was working in her store just before a customer came in. She already had the box open & was taking out the contents. The customer asked about the cases, liked them so much she ordered 2 sets with specific colors.
