Hello BakeSpace!
My name is Brian (The Bipolar Cook), I am a blogger and have been cooking professionally and privately for over 20 years. I am from the Tri-State area, but currently reside out west in Sunny Southern California. I am happily involved and almost ready to pop the question to my wonderful girlfriend of over 3 years, and we also have a wonderful doxie named Burger.
I have recently returned to the culinary industry through blogging as I am currently undergoing some in home physical rehabilitation until summer time 2013, so I have the time right now to explore and expand through sites such as this. Have to say, I wish I had found bakespace easlier. This is an INCREDIBLE site, easy to use, great features, and I look forward to meeting many other great cooks/chefs on here!
Thank you for accepting my application and for an awesome site!
One Love,

Thank you nubbins1 !
It was a multitude of issues , but I am finally around 70% .. Every day it has gotten better!
DOXIES ROCK!!!
Burger is also a short red hair. I have had many different breeds throughout my life, but the doxie is just an amazing creature. As stubborn as they are, they are just as loyal and make an amazing life long friend. Burger just turned 5 on Feb 1. We have been thinking about getting him a brother or sister from a doxie rescue. Was the process lengthy ? _________________ Brian

Hi Brian,
Welcome to the forum. My cybername is Fan Majie and I live in the Netherlands. Due to that I'm troubled [or challenged] by some sarcasm and bluntness, that may be unfamiliar to people living outside the Netherlands. Photography and cooking is what I live for, while my profession as a recordsmanager makes it happen. And behind this woman is an incredible cat called Myō keeping it all in track.
I'm looking forward to see you around in the forums and on the recipe side. There's a lot to discover on Bakespace. _________________ Fanmajie

Welcome to BakeSpace Brian. You will find some great people here and of course great recipes. If you have any questions there is usually someone here to answer them. I am looking forward to getting to know you. I am a mother of 3 grown sons and a grandmother to Madison. I live in the country in Central PA. A lot of Amish recipes are popular around here. Once again welcome, and congratulations on the upcoming engagement. Oops my name is Patti. _________________ Patti

@patti
Hello Patti,
Nice to meet you as well. I love the countryside of PA. I was raised in CT in my pre-teen years, and have visited the Amish country many times. There was a restaurant I used to love out that way i think if I am correct it was called Good & Plenty... Awesome tasting food especially the pies!
And thank you for those kind wishes I look forward to getting to know many of the cooks on here and will engage more on the forums once I get caught up moving more recipes from my blog to bakespace ...
