Good day everybody, have an awesome day Laughing

Just finished dinner. Turned the leftover Sunshine chicken into a stir fry with cashews.

Ann-Marie, I think you could eat this too Wink
So how's everybody doing?

Oh my gosh Fan, that picture just wants to jump out of the screen. I am so hungry (waiting for hubby) and your meal looks fabulous!

I am kind of recovering from a big weekend. lots of company, lots of cooking and eating.
Madison just brings us such joy. It was nice to be happy and push worrying about Nick to the back burner for just a little while. Madison and I decorated a t-shirt for her. We both had a lot of fun doing it. She said to me "Grammy, my friends are jealous of me." I asked her why and she said "They say that their Moms and Grandmas don't ever do projects with them." Awwww. way to make me feel good. I always feel bad that I can't play ball with her etc. It is good to know that she appreciates what I can do with her.
Nick is going for PET scans and other types of scans on Friday. Not sure if I had mentioned that before or not. These tests should tell if he has cancer anywhere else.
We are having chicken fricasee and corn for dinner. Left overs from when I cooked over the weekend.
I built some cookbooks on BakeSpace today and one of them is published. Fun Appetizers and Snacks. The rest have to wait to be approved. Other than that and 3 loads of laundry didn't really accomplish too much.

Hi,

We sure are having wintry weather again - snow and lots of wind. Blah. Ready for 60º & 70º weather -- and kayaking!! Very Happy

Went up to Thrifty Shopper, found 2 cookbooks - a community cookbook and a Betty Crocker chicken magazine. Spent a whole $1.29. Smile

Fan - ooooh, love the picture. Jim took the rest that we had to work with him last week, said it was pretty good warmed up.

PattiT
- cute about Madison...funny how Moms & Dads, Grandmas and Grandpas spend time with their kids/grandkids -- or they don't. Glad I remember both my Grandmother's, both my Grandfather's died when I was very young.

Hope everyone stays warm,
Ann
