Morning everyone,
Fan - we need to take the kitties to the vet for their yearly shots, but can't right now, it's so expensive. By the time we walk out it's usually around $180 for both of them. Just can't do it. Plus Leo goes through this every once in a while, gorges on food then throws up...don't know why he does it.
Looks like we are going to have a nice day today. The sun rise is pretty, orange-ish/yellow.
Heard we had 12 critters yesterday, guess we got a couple of extras late Saturday night.
Hope everyone has a great day!

A beautiful sunny day here. Hope everyone else has a little sunshine in their life. Madison brought a friend along with her yesterday. We did a project and uh oh, they ended up with permanent marker all over their hands. I told her friend that I hoped her Mom wouldn't ban her from coming back. I had provided them with gloves but they said they were interfering with their creativity. I thought that I could use rubbing alcohol to get it off their hands, but it didn't work.
**Debbie, I must have been typing away when you posted and missed your post. I am very glad to hear from you, I have been worried about you. Sounds like there is good reason to be worried about you. Cody is such a sweet boy, of course he would enjoy taking care of you and helping out. You have some wonderful grandchildren.
Yes it was the sister that I do things with that I was having a problem with. She decided to look up Nick's Dr. on the internet, which I told her I had already done. Then she sent me links saying about some of the awards he won and her last link (that she said she found) said that he was an AIDS cancer specialists. I had never gotten such a link and it made me wonder. I ended up calling Nick and asking if it could be possible he had aids. He said that he was tested for that in one of the many blood tests he had done. Tina called back later and said Nick was very upset that Debbie had said she found such a link and gave me something more to worry about. She said she wondered how many people she told that he might have aids. His Dr. is a specialist in over 40 areas and that was just one of them. Anyway thing blew up from there with my sister sending me a very very nasty e-mail. I called and told her that a hyperlink was a stupid thing to be mad at each other for and that I would forget everything she said in her e-mail. Well enough with that book.
Good luck with your lottery tickets.
**Martha, it seems like things are back to normal with my sister and I, not that that is the greatest thing. And yes, it is certainly nerve wracking waiting for the tests and their results for Nick. He has been loving gummi bears lately, so I went on Amazon and ordered him a 12 pound box.
I hope you had a good dentist appointment today.
**Patti, I can't imagine not even being able to bite down on a banana. The weight lose is a side effect that most people would like. I hope your dentures feel better to you soon. Ha, ha about your name being on them. Is that something most dentists do?
**Ann, that is sad that Leo is not feeling well. It is a shame that it costs so much at the vets. It is good to hear that Benji is doing better. Seems like there are lots of critters lately. I guess that keeps you on your toes.
It was so bright and sunny yesterday that we had hamburgers on the grill and macaroni salad. Every things seemed to taste so good after not having them for a while.
Gotta go for now, _________________ Patti

Good day everybody, have a brilliant start of the week
Had a busy day at the office , tried to get my self listed for the "audit" course. But I'm not sure I managed to get through, cause I did get a different automatic response than my boss did when he applied. So wait and see if I have an email from them tomorrow confirming my application.
PattiT, glad you've been able to sort things out with your sis. This kind of thing is exactly what I meant when I was talking about "read carefully, but don't let your imagination run away with it". I'll keep you and Nick in my prayers every day.
Martha, good luck at the dentist's today.
Ann-Marie, sure hope Leo feels better soon. If he throws up, does he throw up hairballs as well? I know vet bills come expensive, bought diet cat food at the vet's for Myo last week. 53 Euros for 6 kilos of dry food, regular Royal Canin brand would have costed me 33 Euros. _________________ Fanmajie

Hi Everybody!
My dentist called and rescheduled my appt for tomorrow. No big deal.
I'm jealous, Patti!! My dentures don't have my name in them! I think that's a good idea... like on those forensic cop shows on TV when they identify some "John Doe" by the serial numbers on his artificial knee or something! Not that I intend to become a "Jane Doe" anytime soon! I can eat a banana, but that's about the limit as to what I can bite down on. I'm dying for a nice piece of Italian bread with the crust on it. Unfortunately, I'm having no trouble with the cupcakes with mocha frosting that I made to take to my Mother !!! (See why I'm not losing any weight??)
Ann - I know what you mean about vet fees. My two furballs are due for their annual checkups... but they are both fine, so I don't know if I should spend the money or just wait until they are due for booster shots. The vet keeps sending me "reminders" but so far I've ignored them. Have you changed Leo's food lately? I feed my kitties dry food, but sometimes I'll give them a "treat" by giving them a can of wet food... and one or the other will throw up. I figured it was from eating too fast and making pigs of themselves!!
Pattit - A 12 lb box of gummi bears!!!! Holy Crap! Nick is going to flip out when he sees that! You're so funny!
